I had not been to Cordon's in years! We were craving pasta and decided to enjoy dinner at this restaurant. To start, we tried the Sears Tower Cheese Sticks. They were so plump and tasty! As my entrée, I had the Slammin' Sammy's Lasagna. It is home-made lasagna noodles layered with marinara, ground beef, mozzarella cheese, and ricotta cheese. It was good.My friend had the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. It is Fettuccine pasta with Alfredo sauce, grilled chicken breast, spinach, and mushrooms. Fortunately, he shared some with me for the sake of this review :) IT WAS SO DELICIOUS! Next time, I'll order this instead!Alcoholic beverages are limited at Cordon's -- cocktails, specifically. I tried the Fresh Fruit House Sangría. I wasn't too impressed with the presentation or the taste. We ordered a bottle of rosè by mistake. Luckily, it was a good wine.PS: SERVICE IS SLOW on a Friday afternoon for dinner.

Great place to dine, enjoy an ice cold brew or a glass of wine. We had the deep dish pizza and it did not disappoint! Check em' out!

The Mac and cheese bites don't look impressive but it's mac and cheese that's breaded and deep fried and they're pretty good. The chicken Alfredo is enough for one person so you won't bust any buttons over eating and I liked that it had spinach and mushrooms in the sauce. I had some sweet tea and it was just right not overly sweet or bitter. Overall the atmosphere feels cozy, nothing fancy you can just be comfortable and relax while you enjoy a good meal that's not going to break you wallet. Staff was friendly too.

Food is great and worth the wait! Waitstaff is friendly and attentive. Although not pictured, must say the pizza is the best!!!

(This was my second time here now and the food is just great everyone should try and go if you love Windy City food.) I'm from Illinois oh, and have been trying to find a place that serves Italian beef sandwich for 7 months. This is the place to go to if you want Chicago style food in the RGV

We been looking for a good pizza place and we hit the jackpot the pizza was good had my children quite and they are big critics. the pizza pie is a must we had chicken and veggies in ours it was big had leftover for lunch and it was still good the kids had a 16 inc it was to big for them as well but the people are nice it’s a family business so good atmosphere. The big play area is crazy a park, basketball, volleyball, soccer and siting area if you was to have a party back that it was so cool. Its $5 just to come in chill in the back and it’s Free if you eating there. So go check this place out tell them Grant family send you ❤️ and the front host is cool I think she is the niece of the uncle she is cool broke down the history for me she a sweet heart

The food and atmosphere were wonderful but service was extremely slow. I had the Monterrey chicken sandwich with house salad and it was very tasty. My two friends had the honey mustard grilled chicken sandwich that they said was very good. Staff were super nice but we couldn't figure out why everything took so long, to the point of us thinking they lost our order.

Being the only one in the restaurant I still had to wait over an hour for my meal... I ordered a cheese steak sandwhich and from the kids menu 2cheese pizza and a cheese burger. Staff just sits together laughing and chit chatting instead finding out what's taking so long. Can't say I'll be back anytime soon.

The atmosphere was nice, the place was clean. I ordered spaghetti and wings and gyro sandwich to share. The spaghetti could use some flavor, it tasted like the sauce came from a can. The wings were great but small and the sandwich was good. The bread was soft and fresh.
