One of the best burger joints in the RGV. This hidden gem ? was awesome. They serve old fashion diner burgers. Nice selection of burger choices to choose from as well as build your own. Very clean place and prices are good. Cashier was courteous and offered her suggestions. Will definitely come back over and over again. Will post food pic next time. Could not put burger down lol.
The food is great but there is always something wrong with the order. It's either not done on time (we have to wait 10-15 minutes for the workers to realize the order is sitting on the counter) the order is missing items, or just recently, they refused to fix a mistake on an order. The workers are unorganized and refuse to help when committing a mistake. We paid full price for our items and received smaller portions. When we told the worker at the front, she began arguing and refusing to at least give us the right portions.Overall. I very much enjoy the food but do not think it's worth the trouble of dealing with the terrible customer service.
After a long day at work, I was on my way to my hotel and wanted to try something new. So Build a burger was right there close to my hotel. I am glad I stopped. The restrooms were nice and clean, the restaurant was nice and clean. The burger was delicious. Thinking about it it was a burger like burger kings use to have. The prices are comparable to any other burger joint but better.?
Great place! The patties taste similar to Whataburger patties, but as the name implies; you can add whatever toppings you want, even jalapeño poppers. They off course have their signature burgers. My fav combo is an avocado Swiss burger and I can't get that at Whataburger. They also sell homemade cupcakes and cookies. If you like Whataburger you'll love Build A Burger.
Terrible Experience. At the Weslaco restaurant. The fries were cold and soggy. The bottom bun of the burger was drenched in onion juice. It was so soggy, my fingers literally went through the bun as I picked up the burger and it fell apart. My brother and I informed an employee of the fries, but she laughed and said they already knew. She did not offer to replace them or refund them. I don't know if this is training or management problem, but it is a big problem. This is not how you gain or retain repeat customer patronage. I've been there three times, two of three were bad experiences. What a shame, on them.
The food was very delicious!! Definitely going back!
The food was so so good. It was a perfect burger, the speciality fries were amazing, and the best banana pudding I've ever had!!!
Ordered the 10 wings with BUFFALO SAUCE and the wings were bone dry!! no sauce. this is the 3rd time i order wings from this location and the wings are bone dry with no sauce even though i ordered buffalo sauce.i was already home when and was too far to drive back.i noticed in other reviews that take out orders are always incorrect or not made how you order it. I hope the owner reads these comments. Please check your food before u leave this location to avoid this headache! #Disappointed
BAD BAD BAD!!! I placed an order and the only thing that was correct was the onion rings and fries. My 2 burgers were completley wrong and the manager didn't want to do anything about it. She initially said that we had taken longer then 30 minutes to call and complain so she couldn't issue credit. After explaining to her that the time on the receipt was incorrect and proving her wrong she offered a 20% discount on my next order. She was so unprofessional in how she handled things. She was rude from the start. It was not my fault that her employees imputted the order incorrect and yet she didn't want to take accountability for it. I will never go back because of the lack of respect from the manager. Get a new manager is how Build a Burger can improve.
Very excited to try out this place! Service was great very clean. Customer service was excellent. To my disappointment the food had no taste whatsoever! Meat has no flavor! Prices are ridiculously high for food that’s disappointing. Would of rather enjoyed a whopper for less money. Than dishing out $30 for a disappointing meal.
