The facility was spacious and clean but a bit loud. Each table had overhead lighting so you could read the menu with ease. The menu was fairly diverse with the exception that a majority of items were crayfish based. If you are the one in a group not big on seafood you will be a bit limited on variety other than chicken.

Left my cc. I came back for it. Waited 45mins w/ no resolve, to be told to come back for it. FURIOUS

The service, food, atmosphere, and price were excellent! My waiter Solomon was beyond Amazing! long waits you need you need to call ahead to reserve your place very busy and worth every minute.

Certainly recommend if you enjoy a good Texas Cajun seafood meal. Took my mom to dinner on Mother's Day 2022. Line was understandably long and the wait was estimated to take up to 90 minutes. We decided to wait and see if a table would open sooner. 30 minutes later we were seated! Our waitress was fantastic and courteous, though certainly overworked on a holiday Sunday so the wait times between visits was longer than likely normal.Food was super fresh. I ordered the Talapia with Lump Crab and Shrimp. OMG. So good. Super tender and so flavorful.Been here many times, usually for special occasions. It is pricey and you can easily break $100 with two people when you include drinks, apps and desserts.

Great food. I love everything on the menu ❤️

Excellent Ryean was the Best!

Yes it has been around yes you have probably already tried it. Went recently after many years. The food is still first rate. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Many choices and you can eat healthier if you want. Everything cooked just right, taste is spot on. Love having a taste of the bayou nearby,

Was visiting Desoto from out of town. My ain’t was craving seafood. We didn’t have many options as majority of restaurants closed at 9pm. Arrived at 740pm. Was told 45 minute wait for party of 4. It appeared there were 4 small parties ahead of us. By 815 pm we decided to order a drink from the bar while we waited. Ordered 3 drinks. We were told we were unable to order an appetizer while we waited for our table. About 845 we get seated. It was obvious they were short staffed. Tables with empty dishes on top and dirty napkins on the floor. I ordered salmon, which was cooked to long. Dirty rice as a side that wasn’t cooked long enough. My cousin ordered the lobster tail. It too was also dry and was so parched it appeared to be boiled with no water. No melted butter alongside it to drown out the smoke. Service was subpar , food just bad. 3 meals + 3 drinks costed $200. No regard for bad service or food.

Besides waiting a while for seating (which was expected) the food and drinks were awesome! I love their Shrimp and Grits and my Dirty South drink was definitely helping the tough week I had. I'll be back momentarily. I have to build up the tolerance for that drink again???

Redemtion! We had a great experience this time. Our waitor lived up to what a great waitor should be. Food was great and my son even tried catfish and loved it! Hats off to this location. I can't wait to come back!
