This is the worst Golden Chicken in the state of Texas they should shut this place down! How slow can you be if someone orders a Family size mashed potatoes side of gravy w/ 4 pieces tender and poppers. How come the family size mashed potatoes is a family size gravy! Stupid! Never again Dumbville Golden Chicken. You only got the one start cause the gravy taste better with Chicken Express. SMH ??♂️
It amazes me how fast Golden Chick went from one of my all times fave to I don't know if I ever want to go back. Drive thru was friendly but the food was HORRIBLE ... I ordered 2 spicy chicken sandwich... simple... nothing special... the order forever !!! When I got home I quickly realized they had given me the oldest bread and was dry and hard ... as for the chicken in the sandwich was also dry and hard ... I don't have the time or the patience to go all the way back there ... but what will say is that it will be Popeyes for chicken sandwiches from now on !!! Sad... My suggestion, go to a different location because these people do not know how to manage...
When I went there they had closed the dining room early yet they still had someone in there eating with the doors locked. Told me I had to go through the drive-thru and I tried to explain to the person that my vehicle is over 8 feet tall. He did not seem to care if I damage my vehicle are not going through the drive-thru or their building for that matter. Went through the drive-thru and place my order for a 6-piece regular chicken strip dinner. When I got to the window to get my order I had to use the extra wide portion of the drive-thru keep from hitting the building, and when I got to the window there was about five or six workers there. When the male that was working the window notice me said something to his coworkers and all but one of the females laughed and she looked embarrassed by what was said. I did not think anything of it until I got home and I found out my chicken had been spiked with a heavy amount of that spicy seasoning that I did not ask for
I went through the drive thru and it was moving just a little slow and there was a lot of young people working there so I thought surely something would be messed up unto my pleasent SUPRISE... Everything was got and fresh the fish was cooked to perfection. Great job team.-Houston TX customer satisfied
Shoot this location made me wait a long time for that tasty chicken sandwich. I did drive-through because at the time the dining room was not open due to COVID and there was no other cars, they had me wait in the parking lot, and like a dummy I did for like 25 minutes. The food was good though I got their classic chicken sandwich. Wish the service and wait was better, but the food was good.
I like Golden Chick’s food but I absolutely HATE this location. They are ALWAYS lazy and ALWAYS have an attitude and no customer service skills. I find it ridiculous how I can place an order, have it repeated back to me still it’s WRONG EVERYTIME! And then when you ask them to correct it you get attitude like it’s your fault it’s wrong in the first place. How hard is it to read an order on the screen and do it correctly?! It’s not like customers want to sit there wasting time telling you their order is wrong and waste even more time waiting on you to fix it with an attitude. It’s something mentally wrong with people like that and yes it’s usually BLACK FOLK with an attitude. It never fails any time i have visited this location they get my simple order wrong and I literally get the same thing every time and any Golden chick location I order from. I do not recommend this location to anyone and if they can’t find someone to run it properly and teach their workers basic customer service skills it should be shut down.
I will drive 15 miles to ALWAYS come to this location. The food is always hot and fresh, tea is usually sweet as a can be and staff are friendly and helpful when we can't decide on what to get. I was a little disappointed that they didn't give us the half n half chicken that we ordered. No matter, they're definitely better than the location 3 miles from us (stemmons fwy).
Want to get robbed by the people working come here they can hook you up. This fool actually pocketed my credit card I should be lucky I got it back without a problem. Good luck coming here not worth the risk
I stopped in after a long day of work to pick up dinner. I ordered a three piece with Cole slaw & fried okra. The chicken was good however the fried okra was old & over cooked. And as far as the cole slaw, well I ended up with green beans instead.
Good wicked wings. The rolls are good too.The only problem they are extremely slow lines. Have the time they close the inside.
