It was my first time here but it won't be my last!? These were by far some of the best tacos I've ever had and I definitely understand the line now. I'm so glad I called in my order because it prevented me from waiting forever for my order and waiting in the road as well. Yes their line stretches out to the road but even then they move quite fast I'll say. I got the #1 combo with corn tortillas and pastor, it comes with beans and rice and I got grilled onions on the side. It comes with everything except the cheese, and grilled onions, those are extra but regular onions are included with the combo but I wanted grilled. And the sour cream I added myself at home. Y'all need to check out this joint for real, because the only bad thing I have to say in this review is that I've lived in Desoto almost a year and I'm always passing by the place but didn't try the tacos until last night, so I've really been missing out!?
Visited Friday March 25 , 2022 at about 8:39pm; spent $25.82 for 3 combos (see photos). The meat in the Gorditas was delicious MINUS the burnt Chipotle tortilla. I was outraged because the individual purposely placed it burnt side down in my container. I was there in line about an hour total. If you visit, call ahead. The line is always long and that caught my attention but I won't be back.
Still delicious! I haven't been in a while but was craving tacos. It was approximately 10pm and there was a really long line. There was a worker taking orders with a tablet. Waited over 20 minutes to get my order. There are few food options in the area so the wait is to be expected. Food was fresh, flavorful, and filling. I had three steak tacos on flour tortillas with all toppings and green sauce.
Slow service, excellent food! Staff could be a bit friendlier, but I still give them a 4 star because of how delicious the tacos are!My wife and I are very picky. It's got to be the real deal for us. And City View ALWAYS delivers!If they were a bit more efficient (and friendly) AND if elotes could be paid for with a visa card, I'd score them a 5 star!Great local place!
This use to be one of the best places to get a burrito bowl. But now not only was the service terrible, the meat and other ingredients on the bowl were old. They no longer have fresh ingredients. Additionally, the menu has old prices that are different from what they actually charge once they ring everything up on the register. Please look at your receipt as they will sneak extra charges for ingredients included in the price of the item.
Even with the long line and horrible service, the food is good. But tonight they didn’t give me HALF my order. Waiting in line for 30 minutes to get half of what I pay for isn’t worth it. Check your food before driving away. Teenagers only care about the pay, not the work.
Basic cold tacos and rice looked plain white sad and Israel @ the window when I order was rushy and no good customer service! If u don’t want to be at work stay home full city in duncanville is better !
Fantastically delicious tacos. The line may be long but the quality is worth it. This is our family’s go to taco spot.
Great service and great prices. The tacos were a little dry but overall great. Traditional onion and cilantro style street tacos.
Do not patronize this business. I ordered several things and my quesadilla was not in my bag. You would have thought I lied about not receiving it and the owner or cashier would not replace or refund my item. I will NOT be returning.
