The catfish was great and hot like TX in the summer time!!! Customer service was good, and I didn’t have to wait too long to get my food!!! Great Sunday Soul Food! I will be back, so the other days of the week won’t get too jealous! Thank you for implementing excellence!!
Lawd hammercy my chicken and dressing... cabbage.. cornbread was so good. Mmmm Mmmm Mmmmm Yummy ? to my tummy! I rarely get any good sleep. I fell asleep for a 3 hour much needed nap!! Thank Y'all! so good!
Good anything is hard to find. Food is no exception. I am glad I found this place. I bought a 2 piece fillet and a catfish sandwich. It was a little pricey but it was first of all real catfish, it was a nice size fillet, and very well seasoned.
Sooo good! We order from DoorDash every week. The fish is flaky, fresh and seasoned perfectly. The chicken wings are delicious and fried perfectly. Large portions for the price and we have been completely satisfied for several weeks now. Keep up the good work!
It was a Saturday afternoon I was hungry and I wanted soulfood. This was my 1st time visiting here so I wasn't familiar with menu options for Saturdays. I was hoping to get a southern plate. ..something I could have for Saturday and Sunday meals. I ended up ordering the wing basket and sub'd onion rings for fries.It was..OK! The chicken tasted like it was fried in the same oil as the fish... which they were out of ??♀️. The onion rings were... not so great.I will try again on a Sunday when I have that soulfood craving again. But will not go on a Saturday again ?
The chicken, yams, and green beans were quite tasty. The cornbread was rushed and wasn't done or brown. I will go back. I suggest they write their handwritten menu with black not blue pen for those of us who don't have 20/20 vision.
So I love supporting black businesses & trying new food! I should have left when I was informed everything was practically sold out by 2pm & they opened at noon. I waited 15 mins for some cold chicken (why wait for cold food) the dressing wasn’t very good either SWEET GEORGIA BROWN IS BETTER. I don’t think I’d return sorry but food is too expensive! Had to keep it real
NICE SIZE PORTIONS. FOOD VERY TASTY!! AND THEY ARE WILLING TO ACCOMDATE THEIR BASKETS TO YOUR TASTE BUDS IN ANYWAY. THEY ARE NOT STINGY WITH CONDIMENTS.
My first time there, I got chicken wings, dressing, candied yams and corn. It was good, but the peach, mango tea is great.I got there late so it wasn't alot of choices,I will go back.
