Was looking for good catfish and decided to try this place due to the 4 stars it had. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!!! Will not ever be coming back. Ordered a fried fish and shrimp combo (2 pc fish/ 4 pc shrimp). Waited 30 minutes and they werent even busy!! Got the food and left irritated since I was going to be late to a meeting due to the order taking so long. Food was disappointing. Fries were soggy, catfish piecese were small and very thin, and the shrimp was a joke! Shrimp was rubbery, flavorless, and not even fully coated in whatever cornmeal mix they use. Dont waste your money at this place!!! Spent almost $18 for some bs food. Definitely not the place for seafood, they need to take off the menu!

With Sliced Brisket that good, the sides could have been bad and it would have been worth it. But pintos an tater salad we're great too. BBQ like this gives this state the reputation. Well done
I have always been a firm believer in supporting local businesses. I’ve driven by this restaurant numerous times and today I decided to stop in and order some food. I ordered a three meat plate, brisket sausage and ribs. $ 14.99
I am very impressed with Evans barbecue the ribs are amazing, I can't find ribs that even come close to theirs, and the Mac and beef is delicious as well sometimes a little bit greasy bit other than that delicious ?
Peach cobbler, ribs, hamburger beef,and big Moe sandwich, banana pudding- black owned , business over 30 years, customer service is great, Mrs Johnnie she is a sweetheart ?❤️

I can remember from a child up to now the best barbecue place in Texas to me you enjoyed they even have fish shrimp everything that you would like for chopped baskets and two veggies to go with it they do have daily specials from 11 to 3 Tuesday through Friday enjoy
