We hosted our wedding at the Vinyl Lounge last night and it was incredible! The night exceeded all of our expectations thanks to the owners and all of the staff members. Tom and Kim were so helpful and thorough to make sure all of the details were taken care of. They went above and beyond to make our dreams come true. DJ Reverend Paul was on fire and had everyone dancing. We gave him some general themes for the music and he more than delivered!! He’s a sick DJ. All of the staff were SO friendly and helpful.We were able to work with Tom to come up with a ticket system for drinks and he helped us curate a menu that offered a variety of drinks (beer, wine, kombucha, cider, cold brew coffee). Our guests were able to open tabs for any cocktails or liquor not on the menu for the drink tickets.Another perk of having an event here is that the vibe and decor of the space is insanely cool so you can let the venue speak for itself decoration wise. We brought desserts and a few personal touches but did not need to decorate at all, it’s perfect as is.Our guests were blown away by how cool the bar is and everyone had a blast. If you want to have a wedding or event that stands out, book the Vinyl Lounge.Outside of having an unforgettable wedding, the Vinyl Lounge is the best dance spot in Denton and our favorite place to bring out of town friends on a night out. I have never seen someone at the Vinyl Lounge not having an amazing time.Thank you all SO MUCH for everything!
I walked in with 3 others and the place was crowded and there seemed to be a possible birthday in one area. My husband and friend went to order. I told my husband to order a drink I had, had before that I liked. We all ordered mixed cocktails that were on the menu, but the bartender seemed to be very annoyed by this. I understand it takes longer to muddle things for a drink and it was crowded, but the majority of the drinks on the menu were cocktails. He was very rude. He first told my husband he couldn't make the drink I wanted so I just ask for something spicy with that spirit and he made an ugly face and ended up making the drink I originally ordered and said something like, "I had to use the last of that(whatever) to make that", like I did something wrong. I don't understand being rude and annoyed at customers for ordering cocktails at a cocktail bar. Pictured is the bartender who, in my opinion, was extremely rude.
Cool spot but the bar situation is a nuisance. Only 2 bartenders, both visible unhappy. They also make people line up instead of fan across the bar, which makes the whole place jammed with people standing in line for a drink. Great music and dancing though.
Our first time in and it was amazing!! Thanks to Kim for sitting and chatting with us! Y’all have a great place. We will for sure be back!!

If you like CLASSIC old school music and want to hang out with a diverse group of people; THIS IS THE SPOT!!!! EVERY DJ is an AMAZING artist! And the bartender Joshua (or johnathan can’t remember) is the friendliest person ever!!! Love love love this place!!!
First time I've been here and I loved it! Fantastic decor and the music was fantastic! Bartenders Johnathan and Gideon made us feel welcome and we're very attentive. Can't wait to visit again soon!
I always love a bar with a good whiskey choice and great music. The place has that laid back, funky 70's type vibe but they were spinning music from many different eras. We will 100% be back! Bartender was very friendly to my bf and me, too.
