The service, the food was good. Out door view is even better

The chicken sandwich was great! I loved the fries that came with it. Generous portions for the price, which is nice. If you sit outdoors, beware of mosquitoes and the heat. The fans don't work outside. There's also one particularly rude male employee there that soured everyone's mood, but I don't want that to detract from the female staff who were very attentive and helpful!Loved the piano bar! It was packed full of people. It's definitely for an older crowd, but our group (in our early 20s) still stayed to enjoy a few songs! They were classics that anyone would enjoy.

We get the potato skins and they’re delicious! However, we sit outside every time and we feel forgotten about. No service in a timely manner, or at all in this case, and it’s never busy when we come. Not sure if there’s a lack of communication between the servers and hostesses but we’ve been sitting outside for about 20 minutes and no one has come to check on us or even take drink order. Extremely disappointed because we WANT to enjoy this restaurant but after several attempts of receiving poor service I don’t think we will be returning.

I went there yesterday with a bunch of friends, a Dueling pianos night! Well one of the players drop a shot of tequila on one of the pianos and fried it. I guess we pay full price for it! But the worst is: they ask the public to get $ 100 and they will play for an extra hour. Guess what we gave them $ 140 and they play 2 songs! Maybe not a reflection directly of the bar, but the entertainment for the evening was extremely disappointing.

So good!!! We had the BBQ Sirloin Burger and The Dive Burger AKA The Vegan’s Nightmare. We also enjoyed the poppers which were delicious! The staff was very attentive and the patio has a great view of the lake. We enjoyed the environment and the food. They also had some great drink options. Definitely worth the stop in! We will be back to try more food!

Very disappointed after visiting The Dive. I was hoping that we would have a decent place nearby on the west side of 35 in which Dentonites could grab a drink and a decent bite to eat. Unfortunately, my visit was a disappointment. The service, the food and the drinks were all subpar. Of the three, the biggest disappointment was the food. We ordered chips and queso to start and the queso was like melted Velveeta...tasteless and boring. Then I got a simple dish, the fish and chips (I got actual potato chips instead of fries). Although the potato chips were actually pretty good, the fish was a disaster. Disgusting! It looked like two fried bricks. The fish tasted like it was just unfrozen with a rubbery texture. When I picked up the fish to take a bite the oil ran down my fingers and dripped into the pool of oil that the fish had been resting in. I took one bite and simply could not go any further. No attempt by the staff was made to even offer an option to replace the meal even though it sat there practically untouched for the next 30 minutes. It is just too bad. What a waste of a completely beautiful piece of real estate. This was the only positive feature of this establishment. We sat on the patio which was a very nice view overlooking a small lake. The Dive is very lucky to essentially have a monopoly in this small market for a comfort food restaurant/bar.

Arrived at 7:00pm. Waited about 5-10 minutes for a table. Put an appetizer in that took over 40 minutes to get. Once the chicken wings arrived the garlic parm were cold. Didn’t get our main entree until 8:50!! We ordered 2 burgers that we sitting and the fries were ice cold! A couple came in 45 minutes after us and got their food before us. Manager came over to apologize and we told her what happened and she said sorry the kitchen got backed up! I don’t believe it was the kitchen as much as our server! If you want cold food and have 2 hours to spare for dinner then go to the dive! This was my first and last time dining there!!

Terrible restaurant. Took 10 minutes to even be acknowledged when it’s half empty. Every single employee looked miserable and had bad attitudes. They’re out of the most basic foods. Our burgers and chicken fried steak tasted like frozen leftovers. Guy on the phone didn’t know **** about the menu when we called ahead to ask questions. Overall the restaurant is just bad. I’m sure the bar is fun but there are better bars out there too

Very nice place to grab a bite and enjoy your evening. Our waitress Arianna was beyond nice, and hospitable to our needs, and trust me we are quite needy haha. 10 out of 10 will be coming back and hopefully get the same amazing waitress

Food was bad, drinks were overpriced, and paid 15 bucks a head to watch a cover band sight read from ipads.
