We had never eaten here before and hoped it would be a nice competitor sushi restaurant since there's not a lot of variety in Denton. But unfortunately when we recieved our order it was pre-made to the point the avocado was browned and made up most of our sushi. No fish taste was there, we ordered 3 different rolls to get a variety and we were very disappointed. The only dish that was tasty was their vegetable roll.

"And would you like a side of sushi with your mayonnaise?"I ordered a poke bowl thinking I was getting something *light* and *fresh*, but when it arrived I was disappointed to see it is DROWNING in mayonnaise and eel sauce. Like... this is a sarcastic amount of mayonnaise. I am a sushi fanatic, and have *never* seen this much mayo dumped over raw fish in my life. Even in Texas ?I'd guess there's probably, conservatively, over 1/4 cup of mayonnaise on this fish. "Was this perhaps intended to be a mayonnaise-based soup?" I wonder to myself.I thought it might be edible if I mixed the poke bowl all together, but it just made the entire meal taste like I'm eating mayonnaise rice that one time might have sat next to fish for ~2 minutes. *gag*Even though it is easily the worst poke bowl I've ever had, still 2 stars because the fish itself is fresh and tbh probably would have been wonderful otherwise. But it's not like I can take the mayo off, so we'll never know.For mayonnaise LOVERS only.
My daughter and I ate at your restaurant today and I believe we’ve found our favorite sushi place! I ordered the sushirito and she ordered a bowl. They were both delicious! The owner and the gentleman that took our order were both so friendly and helpful! I can’t wait to go back! If you haven’t eaten at this restaurant you should really try it! I will definitely be going back !
Staff was friendly, food was hot, fresh, and fast. I had the Korean bulgogi japchae and they added spicy mayo, which I don't mind, but it was way too much. Wife had the poke' bowl and had the same issue: too much mayo. She had eaten there before and had the same thing with better results, so it may have just been the chef preparing the food who likes a lot of mayo. IDK. Overall good experience but next time the mayo goes on the side.
This place is amazing!!!! I ordered the sushiritto (sushi burrito) and I can’t stop thinking about it… it was incredible! The prices were great for the amount of food you get too. I’m so glad this place moved into the neighborhood! The owner was so attentive and wise about his approach to customer service. All around A+
Loved this Asian fusion restaurant! Especially because they had these traditional Japanese floor seating areas in one half of the store. Made the experience far more enjoyable! Great Asian-fusion sushi options as well, and nice staff.
Kinda pricey but thata gonna be any sushi place in denton.Had the Texan, and the pork bowl. Both very delicious and really good amount too.I highly recommend trying them
I ordered steak and chicken hibachi and fried rice, steak was super tough that I didn’t and couldn’t eat it and the chicken was a little rough. The vegetables were also very hard and not cooked down like you would expect. I was disappointed but my son loved the California roll. I was praying it would be similar but unfortunately I was let down
I’ve been here a few times and it’s always so yummy! I’m pretty picky about my sushi, and I think the sushi here is outstanding! Definitely recommend this place, and the owners are extremely nice!
