This is one of my favorite restaurants in town. The server there are super friendly. Both of my kids love the food, as well as my parents. You can tell them to make the food as your taste. Usually, the crawfish in many other places is too spicy even though I told them to cook it mildly hot. Also, I’m Asian, so I prefer the food a bit more flavorful, and all of the dishes here have done a great job. The side dishes were large and great. The room is spacious. The restroom is clean. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Was tasty, enjoyed the seafood, but unfortunately all the fried seafood rests on a bed of fries, and the ratios were not to my liking (about a1/4 was seafood to 3/4ths fries). Would definitely come again if they start offering their fried seafood by the pound. NOTE: the fries were pretty good as well, but I was coming here for the fried sea food, not skinny fried potatoes.
I'm from Maryland, I take my seafood seriously, but this place has amazing price per food and it was the first time I liked cajun seasoning (I'm raised on Old Bay) They're still figuring out their systems but they're doing a great job and I hope they do well! It's really hard to find good seafood like this in this area!
I put 5 stars for the fact that they have a good selection of shellfish and other foods. They have big group meals which I purchased for my friends. The food was cooked perfectly but I will say that our seasoning choice was rather bland. They have several others including plain salted butter. Which is always great for shellfish. Despite the rather bland seasoning we got it was still a very good meal.
Food came fast service was good and it was reasonably priced. Only thing I didn't like was that they had some things on the menu that they didn't have like a smoky bubble tea.. but none the less great place.
After looking at the mixed reviews, I decided to give the place a shot. Welllll, I was pleasantly surprised. The boil options were great. I got the one with 1lb of mussels and 1lb of shrimp. I also ordered 1lb crawfish all came with corn and huge potatoes. The food was well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The mussels had the top shell off so it was conventional to get to the meat. The crawfish were a great size. The service was decent but the owner and his expecting wife were FANTASTIC very friendly and patient. I will definitely be back.
I was super excited to try this new place in Denton on Feb 26. I ordered the seafood boil bag and made sure to let them know not to overcook my shrimp after reading previous reviews. Not only did they not follow my request the overall taste/presentation was not great. I was really hoping for a great experience because I really enjoy seafood.
The restaurant looks amazingly clean. The guy manning the foh was polite and attentive. My to-go order didnt take long. The shrimp were big and well seasoned. The seasoned fries were awesome. A tad on the pricey side, but a good place to splurge. I'll definitely be going back.
the crab was awesome. The crawfish and shrimp was a little over cooked on some parts of it but I also think it's because we have a big party and they were trying to get everyone's food out at once but the extra sauce of the side is amazing I recommend get extra sauce.
