I ordered Taco Salad. It wasn't in a pastry bowl, but still good, although the meat was slightly overcooked.My husband ordered a Philly sandwich with fries extra crispy - If I had remembered my order of fries the time before, I would have warned him that I guess you have to say EXTRA, EXTRA Crispy! I'll try THAT next time and lyk!
Went with my mom and my sister.Menu had a great variety and the prices were more than fair considering the amount of food you got. Our server Rory was wonderful...always spot on and was great with service. Definitely will go there again...5 STARS!
Always good service and good food whether for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. Separate room is available for large groups.
Sidewalk Cafe is our favorite place to eat in Denton county. We have not had one thing to complain about, the food, service, and the cleanliness. Sam is great in the kitchen but SUSIE Is the sweetest friendliest owner we have ever met! Very reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. The best pancakes ever! Always have to get a to go box.
First time here and will definitely be back! The food was fresh and flavorful. I visited on a Saturday morning and I have no idea why there isn't a line out the door because this place is a hidden gem. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Croissant sandwich was delightful as well. Staff were courteous and prompt. Loved it!
This is the second time I ordered a salad with my meal and didn't get it. Camron, our server, "Oh, sorry! I'll be right back with your salad!" I told him it is suppose to be served before the meal. Not with after the meal. I told him to put it in a to go container that I would take it home. It took over 40 minutes to get our meal. My husband's chicken fried steak was half batter. Do not go here if you don't want to wait for you meal to get cold. My catfish was not hot at all and the girl that sat us was very unfriendly.
Hands-down, the best chicken salad I've ever had! And the owner is pretty-great too.

This was our first time trying the Sidewalk Cafe. We were celebrating my husband's Birthday yesterday. This is the place he picked to eat at. He ordered a burger with an egg on it and fries.My husband loved the bread that the hamburger was served on. My husband didn't care so much for the quality of the burger itself. I ordered the Ruben sandwich with onion rings. It was very tasty. I enjoyed it! We both had half cut peach flavored teas which were good.Our Server was wonderful! I believe his name was Eric. He was very intuned to our needs. We will be back. It was a nice experience. Something different!
I was excited to try this place because of the word of mouth. Unfortunately it was not good. The food was served already cold, potatoes were not completely cooked, the bread was greasy and had a hair. The chicken fried steak was more crust than steak and the gravy is packaged. It was about a 3 out of 10 on my scale. Perhaps I came at a wrong time and the cook was out and they had someone filling in.
