The last couple of times we've visited, the drive-thru has been extremely busy and the dining area has been closed, regardless of what Google Maps says. We love Popeyes, but we're not willing to sit in line for an hour before we can order and then wait even longer while our food is being prepared. Do us (and yourself) a favor and hire people who are willing to work their hours, and keep the dining area open during restaurant hours. You're losing business by not keeping the dining area open due to low staffing.The one star rating is only because the food is great (and the fact that I can't give you anything less than one star). Open the dining area and hire more workers, then we'll return. I would suggest opening a second drive-thru lane, too.
The slowest “fast food” I have ever experienced. About 9 cars in the drive thru line, 15 minutes went by before the 1st even moved up one spot. I was in line for over 30 minutes. Are there only 2 associates working the store? I’m not sure why it was taking about 15 minutes per order, is each meal being made from scratch?
Did mobile order and went to pickup. Doors are locked and closed at 6:50 PM. Only drive thru available. Now stuck in long line waiting. Why have a online order APP. This is bad management. Need to have corporate do a random visit on a Saturday night. Revoke the franchise license. That’s a one star. Because, no negative one star is available to select.
This is the worst Popeyes I have ever been to. They need to shut down this location and build a new one. The wait inside the lobby is always long. No one says anything to you. The staff could careless about the customers. During a recent visits they had wet soapy floors in the lobby. This place is beyond unprofessional and needs new management pronto!
I don't know who runs this place, but I have to tell our experience. It was 7pm onwards, and a lady opened the door there were a lot of people, and when we entered a lady who works there, a Hispanic woman shouted very loudly “Son of Pu”. Bit. in Spanish to one of the workers to be exact the one who was cleaning the tables, I mean there is no excuse no way to treat people this way, just because she wanted the doors to be locked. ****Where is there a sign that says that because it's full we can't go in to order. I will file a complaint with the cooperative because this was unfair towards that man, no one has the right to treat any employee in such a harsh way. Only because she wanted the door to be locked. later I asked the man, what is the name of the lady who shouted so barbaricly, and he said that he didn't know. I will not give my service to people like that, ever. There were witnesses, I imagine that cameras as well.** VERBAL HARASSMENT includes threatening, yelling, insulting or cursing at someone in public or private. VERBAL ABUSE can lead to serious adverse health effects. This form of harassment can be particularly damaging since it goes unnoticed and unresolved.
This Popeyes is the absolute worst location of any fast food in Denton. The last three or four times we have tried to visit this location the wait just to place the order was 20 minutes and the person taking the order had a major barrier of communication. He did his best and got our order taken but of course our order was missing the one thing I really wanted. I would not suggest going here.
Very good experience. It is very easy to order via the drive-through. My order was completed quickly and accurately. The food was excellent. I had been a long-time customer of the competition with the buckets. But their service has slipped, and the food just isn't the same any longer. I will drive the 40-mile round trip for Popeyes chicken from now on. Thank you for your great service and delicious food.
Have the lobby closed in the middle of the day and make you wait 20+ minutes in the drive thru to get a pickup order that’s just sitting there getting cold. Phone number doesn’t work at all either so you can’t talk to anyone it’s pretty pathetic.
I am absolutely disgusted with the service we received at this location. We waited for AN HOUR in the drive thru to receive our order. Each car waited 10 mins at the speaker to finally place their order. Every car in front of us had an issue at the window as the employee could not handle money and orders properly. When we arrived to the window the employee clarified our order before charging our card (thank god) but then he turned around and started chatting with a coworker when the car behind us had still not placed their order. He then proceeded to ask us if we were a DoorDash order after he had already clarified what we ordered!? Either you set higher standards for your employees or you train them better!P.S. If you have any complaints don’t bother calling. Neither the store or corporate have a working number they can be reached at.
Ordered online ( not mobile) scheduled to pick up order at the counter at 9:12pm arrived at scheduled time and was told I had to go through the drive thru because no one was working the counter. The whole purpose of selecting pickup at counter was to avoid the long line. It’s been 30 min I’m blocked in can’t leave if I wanted. The line is long and not moving this is ridiculous. I've been in this line since 9:12pm and I am still in line...it's 9:41pm blocked in can't move forward or backwards because I would just leave.Update made it to the speaker I let the person know the situation. He sarcastically said well your here now so I can take your order, I repeated myself "I ordered online, etc." I had been waiting in line for 40 min when I should have been able to pick up my order inside like I requested and scheduled. He said well we prepare the meal when you get here not when you order, I gave him my order number he arrogantly stating that well you can come inside now. My son went inside a second time the order was still not ready. My son stayed in there for 7 minutes because one of the apple pies was not ready. Mind you the entire order was suppose to be ready at 9:12pm. I finally got my cold order at 10:02 pm and yes the biscuit was hard and stale, the chicken was not fresh. Total waste of time and very very disappointed at the overall experience but the customer service at the speaker was absolutely unacceptable. Will NEVER visit this place ever again.
