I loved Pepitas Vegan Taqueria. We ordered the Flautas and the (jack fruit) Brisket and Birria Tacos and the Elote (not pictured). I didn’t eat the brisket tacos but my husband loved them. They use flour tortillas for their flautas, I personally like that, they were very crispy. The crema they used to drizzle over the flautas was so good I needed more of it. Very vibrant flavors! I highly recommend Pepitas Vegan Taqueria.
The chips and hot sauce ARE AWESOME! One of sister's tacos was just a short strip of bell pepper and onion...see foto. All around disappointed with food...could be SO much better. Really expected more items on menu.
My sister and I recently went vegan and drove 25 mins to try this place. We were very impressed with the food! It was yummy and filling. I forgot to mention my avocado allergy when i ordered. They had no problem remaking my tacos without the avocado. The service was amazing and i want to thank Olivia for being so sweet and helpful the whole time as well as the other women who i never got her name. My sis and I will be back!
Shared this jewel with my Mother-in-law. I am not vegan, but if this was nearby I would eat this every day! So much flavor and the food was made with such love and care. This there "brisket", "al pastor", and "shrimp" taco!!The atmosphere could of been a little more warm! Still an amazing place!
The food was delicious and the staff was really nice and welcoming too. Spanish music is always playing which is definitely a plus and must have for a Mexican restaurant.I even forgot I was eating vegan food. Can't really tell much of a difference from actual meat.Had the Chik'n tacos, tacos al pastor, and birria tacos. All were delicious and had enough salsa with every bite.They also brought us some salted chips and home made salsa for them which was one of the best salsas I've had. Very good food option, even for meat eaters like myself
Lovely weekend late lunch with my kids. Everything was delish. We liked the cozy corner with plans and tasty horchata.Breakfast tacos and chickn’ waffles
First off... how are you (Pepitas) just gonna come in unnoticed and have all this deliciousness stored inside and tell nobody about it! You held out long enough! I've had vegan food in plenty of places! Pepitas is up there with the best! Portion: size: fantastic, prices: fantastic, flavor: fantastic, customer service: fantastic, overall experience: fantastic! I tried to find the owner and shake their hand because the food was that good! (I was tryna see if some of there cooking skills could run off on me)! Anyway, you won't be disappointed! We had the loaded fries which had flavors of perfection! Also had the combo 3 and got 2 brisket tacos and the fried chicken Taco! Both were great but the fried chicken Taco had amazing flavor and the crunch on the Taco was absolute ecstasy! The brisket tacos would be prefect with a hint of BBQ sauce in it (in my opinion)! We also had the root drinks of Lemonade and lime and blueberry which were tremendous! Finished is the meal with a sweet surprise: Sopapillas! Never had them before but the cinnamon and sugar came in prefect harmony to complete a dance of joy in my mouth! Pepitas, you'll be seeing me again!

I don’t normally scrape my plate or lick my fork, but this restaurant changes people. I ordered the empanadas and I went in a girl and came out a Woman. I have been vegan for 2 years and this is the best food I have ate without worrying about anything. 100% recommended , even my non vegan family enjoyed it and is willing to come back!!! Shrimp tacos (sounds really suspicious but the best I ever ate) and empanadas (I would risk my life for another plate) is what I ate and I will eat it again. Thank you Jesus for educating me about this place.
Since eating here I have had dreams about the elote. My sister was in town for Christmas and she is vegan. I was more excited to try this place than she was. We went a mid afternoon weekday and ate in. It is more fast casual but with a nicer touch. We both got the birria tacos and elote and split a piece of the tres leches cake to go. Everything was fabulous. So much flavor! I find a lot of places skimp on seasoning and spices but not Pepitas! I am actually kind of sad it’s 30 minutes from me because I would get take out here on the regular (particularly just loads of elote).
