The food was bland no taste $40 in gutter. If I would have eaten just bread it would be much tastier. Worst Mexican food I ever had . Just angry how they have such horrible food. I am visiting from Houston and had ordered through Uber to my hotel . Please stay away from this restaurant, if you like their food , that means you have no taste buds alive. Go waste your money
Ordered twice from Uber eats, nothing was missing, and the fajitas were tender and flavorful! The tortilla soup came with plentiful sides to mix in and was yummy! We also ordered the fajita nachos and was impressed with the nachos as well! Everything in our order was excellent! I will order again and hope to visit the restaurant in person soon to try the margaritas!
First I know food taste is subjective. I had the beef chimichunga and thought is was good. Not great but good. My daughter had the chicken flautas and really liked her meal. My wife had the chicken enchiladas and they were a bit of a disappointment. Dry and the chicken had no flavor. The queso was pretty good. Not sure if we will go back any time soon. I gave 4 stars because aside from the food, the staff was awesome!. Every person we interacted with greated us with a smile and service was very prompt.
Absolutely love this place. We always get a friendly greeting from Manny when we arrive. He always makes us feel like we are rock stars while were there! It's not a large place, so waiting for a table is common during busy hours. And they are definitely worth the wait. Food comes out quickly. Margarita's are always delicious. Chips and salsa quickly refilled. The very few times I've had an issue, it was quickly corrected. So glad they chose our neighborhood for Mi Tata's (Mi Taza's)
Yes, Mexican food.It's not magic, it's your everyday Mexican restaurant IMHO. A bit pricey if you're used to the neighborhood Mexican hole-in-the-wall, which I prefer.This place is ok, staff was pleasant, nothing fancy - food & beer.
Best chicken tortilla soup around! They take the time to make the broth from scratch and it really makes this soup unique from most restaurants. Do yourself a favor and try a bowl!
Me and my friends have returned here many times! The best freaking Mexican food literally in Denton County! Customer service is top notch and they stay on top of everything. It is our go to choice for Mexican food at least once every other week!
Great place for an authentic Mexican dish. Not too crowded and the service is fast. I recommend the Chicken Street Tacos or the Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas. ?
My family and I LOVE this place for Mexican food. We have gone here a handful of times since recently discovering it. Every time we have been, we have had above-board service, excellent food and great drinks! I probably should be giving it 5 stars, but I think it is just a little too expensive to go much more often than we've been able to afford.The homemade salsa is great. The chips are fresh. The drinks are exceptional, especially the mixed drinks. It's hard to find good bar drinks anymore. You know, the kind where you can actually taste the alcohol in them - but not too much alcohol that it overwhelms the taste of the drink. Perfect in my opinion. They've got a really great bartender for sure.Food has always tasted fresh, not like it is sitting in the kitchen all day and put in the microwave to warm it up after it's ordered. It tastes like they made it when you ordered it. It is flavorful, and the portions are on the bigger (but not too much) side. Again, just about perfect.Everyone is kind and attentive, they check on the needs of the tables frequently, and the atmosphere is pleasant with a positive energy throughout the restaurant.If you haven't been here, I urge you to check it out. If you have been here and have left a less than stellar review, I urge you to check it out again to give it another shot. I wish more places were this good.
