All of the chicken that went with my order didn't make it into the box. Some of the chicken that did make it was so rubbery that it couldn't be eaten and one of the pieces of fish tasted like it had been allowed to sit out and then refried. The only reason it got two states is because the fries and the hush puppies were really good. I won't be returning to this location. $30 is to much for a meal where half of it goes into the trash.
Dining at this long standing restaurant(name) for the first time in many years was pure joy. Kinda a "flashback" to earlier times. A friend and I decided to have lunch here after a morning appointment. Boy, we were not disappointed. The two piece "fish and chip" meal that we both selected, was hot, fresh and had a great flavor. The restaurant also offer additional sides, other than fries, such as coleslaw, etc. And the hush puppies were as good as I remembered. The price point was very good! Customer service was also good. I do recommend dining here...it's a good choice.
It was ok the floors are so freaking slippery. I was terrified of ending up doing the splits. I was so afraid for an elderly couple that came in however the food was hot and good. Pls. for the love of God stop using the kitchen mop on the dining room floor. A customer could fall and seriously hurt themselves.
went for a fast lunch & it was the best we have had there. Employees were nice & we were very happy with our food
Service great food is always good..however the corn really looks over cooked or been sitting to long..that is the only problem I have with LJS. Other that it is all good ....
Bad customer service at the drive though window. Fish was mushy. I will not come back. It was a good restaurant in the past.
ABSOLUTE POOR EXCUSE FOR A RESTAURANT!My wife's birthday was last week. Due to weather we couldn't get out. Last night I asked where she wanted to eat that we couldn't get where we live. She said Lonh John Silvers, so we called before we drove 46 miles and almost an hours drive to make sure they were open in Denton, Tx. They said they would be open to 9-9:30pm which we thought was a weird answer since their posted hours said 10pm, but since the Pandemic is the reason we "call before we drive".After driving that far, we pulled up to the restaurant. A lady in the restaurant was taping a piece of paper to the door as we got out of the car. She then locked the door as we were walking up to the door and she turned to walk off when I knocked on the door and refused to talk to us. THIS WAS AT 7:50PM! We called them, she answered and I told her we had called and what they said. She refused to even listed or do anything but said" I said we would be open but didn't say out lobby would be" she got very rude like it was a game. I stated that we had just drove almost an hour, she pointed yo the sign she put on the door. I knocked several times and another red headed girl who was sitting in a booth came up and pointed to the sign they taped to the door. This girl had been sitting doing nothing but playing on her phone. We called and knocked on the door but when I told them we were going to call their owner, they said "I don't care, call them!" It was very onvious they could care less. DON'T SPEND A DIME IN THIS PLACE. WE WON'T EVER MAKE A DRIVE LIKE THAT TO A PLACE WHO TREATS THEIR CUSTOMERS THIS WAY!!! NO WONDER THEY KEEP GOING OUT OF BUSINESS AND AREN'T MANY AROUND ANYMORE!
Absolute sorry excuse for a retaurant. We called first before we deove 45 minutes. They gold us they were open until "between 9-9:30pm which we thought strange when their website says 10pm BUT these days is the reason we called first. We drove all the way to this location only to have the lady who we talked to put a handweitten note on the door saying they were closed in the lobby. She did this as we were walking up to door and REFUSED to let us in. THIS WAS AT 7:45PM! They had plenty of help, but they were sitting on their butts in the booths...we took pictures and we will be sending to their corporate manager. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, GAS OR EFFORT ON THIS PLACE. NO WONDER THEY ARE ALL GOING BROKE!!!! I WOULD FIRE THE MGR AND THE LAZY EMPLOYEES!
I just feel like yall should know whoever is working at the denton loop 288 location right now is super rude! we went through the drive through and ordered and added on 1 piece of fish and 3 shrimp to a plate. We pulled over to eat since dining room was closed at the moment... everything was right except the 3 added on pieces of shrimp were not there. So we get back in line and tell them we are missing the 3 shrimps and the cook is in the background saying "no I put them in there" they argue for a sec then tell us pull forward. The lady working the window hands over the bag and glares at as saying "just so you know, those were put in the other box that already came with shrimp". we had already checked that box as well and they were not in there. So we told her that we had looked and the only shrimp in there were the 3 that it came with (a #9). She gives us another rude look and just says ooh kayyy. Very rude. Very unprofessional. I am not one to lie to try to get free food and to be treated like a lying piece of sh**** is not acceptable
Great staff and delicious food! ? Cleanest Long John’s we have been in while traveling cross country! Fresh * Flavorful * Friendly
