used to be 5 stars. but posting 1 star now because i had a veggie omelette from here this morning that gave me BAD food poisoning. i should have known because it didnt look the freshest, everything was cold (it was an online pickup order, but i arrived minutes after i placed the order), and the avocado on top was completely brown. please check the freshness/expiration of your food. this was the only thing i had to eat today (couldn't keep anything down) so i know it was this food. unfortunately, because of this experience today, i will not be returning.
I’ve been to the location in person, gotten take out, and through Uber eats and every time there is something wrong with my order or they just forget an item entirely. I want to support this place since the food is pretty good and local but it’s a gamble if I’ll even get the food. Last time it was a side today it was an entire entree (also why do you guys not fill the cups on drinks?)
Feels like small town but tastes modern. I only had the "icebox" coffee which was amazing. Loved the shaker presentation and was very tasty. If you are a coffee in the morning and margarita at night to make it kind of gal like me this is great. The coffee was served with Margarita shakers which not only fun and modern but I got a couple of servings out of it. We were able to pick our table out on a quiet garden room with sunshine which gave it that country feeling in downtown setting. The meeting wasn't interrupted or distractions were at the minimum will definitely make this my new go to for consultant meetings with clients. A girl has to have a host that represents what they want to portray to their clients. Modern humble with productive accents is exactly what I was needing thank you
We ordered this to our house and they gave us the completely wrong order. We got a full refund from Uber.Here’s the part that’s making me write this; I have a very severe peanut allergy and they gave us onion rings so I called to ask what oil they fry in so maybe I could actually eat it. The girl who answered the phone said she didn’t know what they fried in and when I asked if she would go check, she said she wouldn’t check just because they were busy.That isn’t something that’s ok to do and now I have the wrong food and I can’t even eat it. The employees need to be taught about food allergies and common courtesy. This was my first experience with this place and I’ll never go back.
For homestyle food, it was okay... nothing stood out as being better than what you make at home. Couldn't taste the jalapeno butter on my grilled cheese... pretty standard.
This is the best breakfast spot in Denton. Fresh cracked to order scrambled eggs. Scratch biscuits and gravy made with roux and not corn starch.Get an iced coffee and you won’t regret it. They actually use the leftover coffee to make ice cubes for your drink! And it comes in a chilled shaker that you can serve yourself with and the coffee stays nice and cold.My girlfriend got the huevos rancheros and I can’t remember the name of mine but it was a filling and delicious scratch made meal.It is a little pricier than most spots but still affordable and the quality is worth it.This is your new favorite breakfast spot. Right off of the square in a quiet area across from The Greenhouse restaurant.Enjoy :)
I love breakfast restaurants, probably my favorite meal to eat out for. Breakfast Nachos from Loco Cafe is leagues above any other breakfast dish I’ve ever had. Don’t modify it, the ingredients play so well off of each other it was a thoughtfully composed entree that will not disappoint. I have no clue how they keep the chips crispy throughout the whole meal but they were divine.(Sorry I didn’t get a before picture it smelled too good)
Don't order online. They charged 13 bucks for homemade granola which is honestly nothing to brag about but I thought it would at least be a bag of granola.. They sent me a tiny little bowl of below average granola for $13.. What a rip off! And the chai latte is just browish water.. gross! I have 3 stars because the rest of the food tasted good.

Great biscuits and coffee! I don’t go as often as I’d like, but it never disappoints when I make it there. Plus the baked goods are great, too.
