Unique dining experience that was well worth the wait. Appetizers were so good, had to try almost all of them. Sushi and sashimi flavor were on another level, I don’t think I’ll ever be able to order spicy tuna anywhere else again. Even days later we are still talking about how good it was.As I understand it, they fly in the food frequently and only serve fewer than 20 people per night. The the freshness is apparent in the taste, and service very personalized.
I don't understand why this restaurant is an Omakase Japanese restaurant! Pasta at a Japanese restaurant? Is this the right combination? No matter where I go in the world, I haven't seen such a bizarre combination.The taste of sushi is just typical ordinary sushi restaurant, the food is not original, and the price is overpriced, the same as that of a Michelin 5 star restaurant in downtown Dallas. It's a ridiculous concept, but if there's no restaurant in Denton City, how can you give five stars to a house like this? I think they gave it five stars because they just wasted money. If you have too much money with you, you just pay your money as toilet paper.
My father brought me here regularly growing up, he is great friends with the amazing chef K and I cannot wait to be back. This is hands down the best sushi (and Italian) cuisine you might find on this planet. I remember Kay yelling at me as a teenager because I was mixing my wasabi with my soi sauce, and teaching me how to properly eat his delicate fish. KAY I LOVE YOU AND I HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON!!!! ps: ORDER THE RACK OF LAMB IF ITS ON THE MENU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely the best Japanese restaurant in DFW area. This restaurant looks so unassuming from outside but once you get in, you feel like being in Japan. The food is so amazing. It is an interesting combination of Japanese and Italian. Every dish is great. The seafood is so fresh. Remember to reserve two months in advance.What a special restaurant! Will come back again and again!
We have been to sushi places around the US and the world. This place is the best. Perhaps the most amazing thing is not only is this easily the best sushi restaurant in all of DFW, but it is also the best Italian restaurant in DFW. If you go, make sure you try both cuisines and all of the wonderful desserts.
Fantastic Sushi restaurant....one of my favorite for authentic, fresh and high end sushi. They have a long wait for reservations, but worth the wait. Due to Covid their seating is very limited. Call ahead and get a reservation, you won’t regret it.The beef roll and trout sashimi are too die for. The service was very friendly, the chef made incredible suggestions, the waitress was super efficient and the food was reasonably priced for the quality of fish/ingredients. A meal like this at Nobu would have been twice the price with perhaps lesser quality ingredients.The portions are very generous and filling.A must try place if you are a sushi ? fan.
K is the best! Our whole family loves him and his wife! We have been going here for SO long and it keeps getting harder and harder to get in! He has the BEST sushi on earth. His food is immaculate and worth every penny!
This little Gem is not much to look at. The beauty is in the amazing food that is served. We started off with the Grilled Octopus and the Beef Tataki. Both were amazing. I should tell you I was a bit nervous about the Octopus. It was tender and so tasty. The Beef Tataki was as silky as butter in your mouth with a hint of sweetness.
Obviously the best place for food, Japanese food especially. Everything is delicious
Keiichi is a world class experience of flavor in Denton, TX. Amazing.
