I recently had to go gluten free and I'm still in the learning process of what I can have and what I can't. Jay was so kind to me and spent time going over what I could eat there and made a special roll for me. I feel like he really went out of his way to help find something I would like. I have not had that experience at other restaurants. I loved this place before but after tonight's experience, I love it even more. The food is amazing and so is the wait staff.

The best fried rice in Denton!Had the beef bento lunch special todayBeef was a little tough and there were a lot of onions on this dish. Salad was fresh, soup was yummy warm. Service was great.

My girlfriend and I went here on a hunch because we have been severely disappointed with I love sushi. Hands down this is way better. Incredible service, and quality food. Our glasses were never empty and everything was super fresh! This is definitely our new sushi spot for the foreseeable future.

The food was great as ever. But the servers seemed frazzled every time we had a question for them about the menu and the prices. I have been to J-sushi before — a couple of years ago — and everything was on point then. Just a little disappointed in the service.

my favorite sushi spot in denton! Good prices and amazing selection. Always extremely fresh and well made too! All around 10/10

I’d give it 2 1/2 stars. We ordered the Nigiri Deluxe and certain pieces tasted like they were rubbed on a salt lick. It wasn’t the rice. The salmon, tuna, shrimp, and the snapper all tasted REALLY salty. It’s almost like they were trying to mask the lacking freshness of the fish. The fried roll we had was good. That was about it.

Crazy Monkey roll and California roll ?One of the places I enjoy sushi!

Delicious, the Lion King roll is easily a new favorite. Prepared in a timely manner and reasonably priced.

I've been hear a few times now, and J Sushi has been great each time. They have some good sake to pick from, and some interesting and traditional appetizers other similar restaurants do not offer. The cuts of fish are very good for the price, and the rolls are wonderful.

Had the las Vegas roll and a volcano roll. The las Vegas was slightly above average, the volcano roll though was well above average for what it is. The service was very attentive without being intrusive. The time for my food was a bit longer than I'm used to for sushi however the quality made up for the wait. The prices are moderate, it's not cheap but also not top dollar. Overall it was a good experience, I will be returning in the future.
