My husband and I have always had an enjoyable experience here…until tonight. Our food was good. We both had 2 Tito vodka martinis each. Then we got the bill…. They charged us NINETEEN DOLLARS for EACH martini. When I asked the waitress about why the drinks were rung up as “doubles” she said they have “new management” and that’s how she was told to ring them up. We didn’t order “double martinis”… (I mean, is there even such a thing??? A martini is a martini!) I know it’s not the waitress’ fault, so I tipped 20% and left. Now I wish I would have confronted the “new manager” about why they are double charging their patrons for drinks. $80 for 4 drinks. That’s absolutely absurd. Unfortunately, we will have to cross this one off the date night list if that’s how they want to run their business. Not cool. Better ask about prices on drinks so you aren’t blind sided by the bill. I will report back on the price of a Tito’s vodka martini at other restaurants in Denton as a fair comparison!!

Had a great Kansas burger here along w/the baked potato soup and an Angry Orchard after a long conference day. Relaxing atmosphere and seemed to be a place people met up with friends as well.

This is a little late on coming but, I love this place! Their food is consistently delicious and their prices are very reasonable… especially, if you get on their email list for the Houlihan’s specials! Hamburgers and fries are great and I can’t begin to describe some of their chef’s specials! Great place to take a date… quiet, calm and peaceful.

The food is excellent!! We stayed at the Embassy Suites and this restaurant is connected to the hotel. We had the salmon and it was cooked to PERFECTION!! ALSO WE TRIED THE CHICKEN WRAPS AND CHICKEN WINGS ! Hats off to the cooks!! Everything was phenomenal!! The lettuce was crispy and the chicken filling was great and wings cooked golden brown!! We will be back

The kitchen manager was super accommodating with our dietary restrictions. The waitress was nice too. The mushrooms were amazing and I will be back just for them.

I usually love coming to houlihans! And I normally have a good experience. But today is the worst service I’ve ever had! The minute I walked in I was ignored and not even given a menu initially. I had to eventually ask for one. I ordered a salad that came at a reasonable time. However the soup I ordered never came! I kept having to flag the waiter down to finally ask about my soup. And his excuse was that he was the only waiter in the restaurant at the moment so he had been to busy to bring me my soup.So he blamed it on another person saying someone else was supposed to bring me my soup. And he told me since it didn’t come I could just eat my salad. I thought that was really sad! It’s only 3:00 in the afternoon on a Sunday. So it’s not like they are very busy at all. I don’t know if I was given poor customer service because I was by myself or not.But there’s no excuse for it. I’m really laid back and I would totally understand if he was really busy but he wasn’t and their was hardly anyone in the restaurant at the time. I’m staying here at the Embassy Suites hotel also. So I was going to come back down here for dinner. I don’t know if I will now after the poor customer service I just received. I usually eat here a lot but I’m going to take a break after today.

Food was slow getting due to no help & slow cooking, some got cold food. It was mediocre for the price. The plus was we had a wonderful waitress! She was a Superwoman doing her best to wait on over half the restaurant & running to the bar for items!

I was surprised to see a familiar place in another state. There is a Houlihan in Champaign, Illinois as well (about a half hour from my residence). The atmosphere is set to not disappoint the customer. Fantastic service and the food is delicious. While staying at the hotel for 2 nights, this was my to-go place to eat. The salads are made with iceberg lettuce which is perfect for me (don't like fresh greens). The potato soup is the best late night comfort food. You can't go wrong with the appetizer of queso with chips and potato slices! They fix the garlic green beans perfectly too! They must use the blanch method then sauté them because they are still crunchy but soon flavorful! This restaurant is available even if you are not staying at the hotel. So come on in and give them a chance. You won't be disappointed!

Had lunch here with my wife - great food! Some of the best fries in town and absolutely amazing baked potato soup. Service was attentive, atmosphere was nice. We plan to come back and explore the menu some more. If you have not eaten here, you must give this place a try!

Haven’t eaten at a Houlihan’s in probably 30 years. When we discovered this one we just had to check infor old times sake. What a great surprise. It is connected to the Embassy Suites hotel, which does give it a bit of a hotel feel. Still, it was worth it as a local to stop in. I always remember these places as being great eclectic food and drink, and it still is. My wife and I started with creative drinks (Pink Elephant and Grapefruit Jalapeño) which we quite good. My wife then had the excellent Pan-Fried Pork Dumplings and the French Onion Soup. I had the soup as well and for my main had the Korean Chicken. The flavor on the Korean Chicken was amazing. Just the right mix of spice and flavor. Different than anything I have had. We closed with the special Sticky Butter Cake offering. They hit it right on and St. Lois would be proud. If it had a bit less of a hotel vib, I would rate it 5, but instead I am giving a 4.
