We went on a Monday night at 5:30 pm. We did not reserve a table, even though there were 9 in our party. The greeter seated us with no issues, (we were the only ones there). He stated that we should've called ahead. We ordered...no issues. I had Aloha pizza. It was very good. The garlic cheesy bread was great. Others ordered fettuccine Alfredo and it was tasteless. Very bland. The waitress was very friendly. She heard us sing "Happy birthday" to our friend and proceeded to bring out complimentary cheesecake for him.The menu prices are higher than online.Overall it was ok but probably won't go back.
We ordered from here a couple of weeks ago because we unfortunately forget they are still around. We ordered their Caesar salad and it was honestly sooo good! we were having a dinner party the following week and called them about their dressing. It is homemade and they allowed us to buy some from them! Everyone ate so much salad hardly anyone was able to finish the rest of dinner. Love this place!
We travel from Nebraska to San Antonio and always stop at Fera’s. I’m an Italian from Boston and I went to high school in the north End and I believe Fera’s tops any restaurant from Hanover street. I know that’s a bold statement, but the chicken Masala I had was the best. My wife’s shrimp fettuccine was excellent. I wish I had the receipt for their rolls. Try this place. I hope you like as much as we do.
Place was great , family loves all of their meals!
Such a cute place and the food is always great! Plus they’re fairly cheap, too. If you like drinking you can get beer and wine at good prices. We’ve tried the chicken Parm, pizza, spaghetti and meat balls, and their garlic cheese bread. Yum!
I would give 0 stars if I could. The spinach artichoke dip was so watery that it was more of a soup than anything. The chicken florentine had no flavor at all. It honestly felt like I was eating plain noodles with no sauce or seasoning at all. The shrimp alfredo was also extremely bland, and we only got 4 pieces of shrimp. 4 pieces of shrimp for 6 extra dollars. And finally, the chicken fettuccine was mediocre at best, which isn't saying much because I was tasting it in relation to the other two dishes. It was so bad I actually had to throw it up afterwards. Not worth the price at all, and I'm never going back.
Ambiance and staff were both warm and friendly, which is why I wish I could give a 3.5 star rating. But the food was not as full of flavor as I like. I'll probably be back to try some other options in the future.
This place is DELICIOUS! They are affordably priced. Everything is homemade and always fresh. From the pizzas and stromboli and calzone, to the lasagna and chicken fettuccine Alfredo. They have homemade house bread and garlic rolls. The house dressing is the best we have ever had. We always get extra of it! We've started to get something different each time we go, and it never disappoints. It is a small family run restaurant.
Chicken parmigiana. Reasonable, feel like home, and so tasty. Definitely a hidden gem for UNT students. It was not too busy.
BLUF: Great local Italian, clean, good service, tasty food, good value. We always like to support local restaurants, even when traveling, and we were looking for Italian tonight. Fera's was on a couple of "best of" lists in a Google search, and had good reviews here and on Yelp. The restaurant is a bit off the beaten path and takes a little effort to find. It is in what looks like a large house with the first floor converted. The decor is rustic and simple. It was clean and comfortably arranged. There were 5 other groups already seated and 1 checking out when we arrived about an hour before closing. Wait staff was limited to 1 (Christmas break for UNT, we figured) who turned out to be one of the owners. There was a steady stream of takeout orders during the 45 minutes we were there.Service was great, especially considering the number of tables being covered by one person. Our house salad and appetizer came quickly, accompanied by 2 garlic rolls, and our meals arrived only minutes after we finished them. The food was hot and tasted very good. Portions were not massive, which I find to actually be a problem at some Italian places. I'm a big guy, and I was absolutely full when we were done. My wife didn't quite finish her whole meal. In the end, we paid about $40 (before tip) for a wine, softdrink, appetizer, house salad, pasta sampler, and chicken piccata. We had a pleasant conversation with the chef/owner who was helping to clear tables with his server/cashier/server/wife. All in all, just the type of restaurant we like, with good local food.
