Fantastic place! First time trying it out tonight. Great friendly staff. Nice environment for families. We had trio fajitas and the chimichanga. Meal was hot, fajitas were sizzling, great taste and well put together. The portions are huge! You definitely get what you pay for. Service was amazing. Corinth Angelina’s servers moved to this location! Let me tell you amazing decision, way to go guys! We missed y’all! This place was a hit! We will be back! Oh, margaritas are to die for.
Was always curious about this place, so I tried them out. Ordered the pork loin street tacos with rice and charro beans. Very flavorful and pork was tender. Plenty of food, charro beans were delish as was the rice. Tried the spicy sauce for my tacos and it was VERY spicy. I used the chip salsa instead. Service was great. Doors are signed fine in and pick up.ittle confusing. Overall, I recommend people to try them.
This is a great Tex-Mex food place that I visit once in a while. You can't beat their fajitas and the service is incredible! I took a date and she commented on the fact that the waiter was so attentive to what we needed. The assortment of margarita options makes it fun to have a drink! Highly recommended!
El Matador was great! We tried it for the first time after El Fenix closed and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and came out super fast. We beat the dinner rush, but you can easily see that it's a fan favorite because by the time we were leaving the place was getting really crowded. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!
One of the best hidden gems in Denton. Food has been amazing on every visit, prices are fair, and the service was fast. Staffing is wonderful here and it has a great environment. Margaritas are a favorite and plentiful in flavor.
One of my favorite Mexican food places in Denton for sure. Often get the fajitas and am never disappointed. Love their chips and salsa. The ambiance, friendliness, and service is fantastic. Will keep returning here for sure.
Great food, comes out super fast. You can't go wrong with the flameado. They messed up our order but had a new plate on our table within 5 minutes. The drinks are tasty as well. Next time I'm in Denton I'll be stopping here for sure.

This place has a LARGE seating area to accommodate any type of group. They are constantly busy so that should tell you something. The takeout process was very simple and even with the crowd, they were on time. Definitely worth a try if you are craving some Mexican food.
Serving on jury duty and this looked like it had good reviews. The chips and salsa were good and the lunch portion of the pollo poblano was filling and very good flavor. Definitely a good choice!
