I always love eating here with my granny for breakfast when she visits, and every single time the staff is nothing short of friendly, professional, and attentive. Food is great, coffee was fresh, and they made sure all needs are met, even those we forget to ask about. I also really love that they have fresh fruits with a nice crispness to them. I hate going places with overly soft/gooey berries!
Clean, comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Our server, Lou was helpful, friendly and professional. She knows the menu very well and made suggestions for my husband who wasn't sure what he wanted. She appears to be a leader for other employees. Our food was out quickly and was delicious. I had the Very Berry Yogurt Bowl; he had the Biscuits & Gravy with Eggs.
I decided to get breakfast and found this place on yelp. I walked in and the hostess asked me how many in my party. I said one, he said it would be a few minutes. I asked where their restroom was, I noticed that the restroom floor was flooded with water.After I got seated told the waiter that the bathroom needed some attention, that it was flooded. He told me that I could leave if I was not happy with the restroom. I said no it’s all right. He said no you need to leave, you are not happy with our bathroom. I said I was just letting you know that the restroom needed some attention. He say you can have a good day somewhere else. He was real polite about the whole thing, but I was not to stay and eat there.I said really? You are kicking me out because I complained about the restroom. He said, you can have a good day somewhere else and pointed to the door.I left and I was polite about the whole thing. Before I hopped on my motorcycle I noticed that my hands were shaking and I was upset about the whole thing.I can’t believe I got kicked out of the restaurant because I complain about the restroom.
We visited Egg House Cafe for Saturday morning breakfast, arriving a little before 8:30 am. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt welcomed and at home. We were greeted pleasantly and seated immediately in a perfect corner spot. The decor was pretty with cream colored walls and matching cushions, set against a warm wood trim on the arched doorways. Although we were in a small strip shopping center it did not feel as though we were. Everything was clean and bright with pleasant music playing in the background. Our server was excellent, bringing coffee and water right away. When we ordered she was very knowledgeable about the menu and when the food arrived it was just as ordered. The food was delicious. Our order included Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. One reason we chose the cafe was because they had gluten free options. I had the gluten free pancakes and they were quite good. We will definitely eat here again whenever we are in Denton and recommend it highly. Going a bit early for breakfast was a good idea as tables filled up pretty quickly after we arrived.
Came to Denton for a baseball tournament. Our daughter is also a TWU student so we've driven by here several times. Decided this weekend to give it a try and it Didn't disappoint!! Hubby got the standard scrambled eggs, sausage, hashbrowns & sourdough toast, I ordered a veggie omelet that also came with hashbrowns and I too chose sourdough toast, our daughter opted for a crepe combo which was SOOO YUMMY!! 2 crepes Very Berry style(blue berries & sliced strawberries with real whip cream & a dollop of mascapone creme, 2 sausage, 2 bacon AND choice of eggs!!! With 2 coffee and tea total bill before tip was less than $40!! We WILL be back!! ❤️
