Normally I order the same thing, the spicy chicken Alfredo pie. But seeing their gluten free options I got curious- and hats off to you Crooked Crust! Because I’ve always had people in my life with different dietary needs I’m always curious of a restaurant’s selection. Their rice flour crust is great, and a little bit sweet, even. It made it really great with ranch. Great pizza place. Love stopping here when I am heading to class, but now I have even more reason to recommend it!!
Their Mean Green pizza was OUT OF THIS WORLD! The reason for not giving the five stars was because I could see that the dough wasn’t fresh which is such a turn off for such expensive pizza. Don’t get me wrong the crust isn’t the worst I’ve had. But why charge so much for one slice when I could get at frozen pizza at Walmart for the same price? They also had the A/C BLASTING which had me legitimately shivering so I had to go outside in the heat. I wouldn’t exactly recommend this place. But I wouldn’t tell you not to go. This place just seems to need a few improvements.
It's good pizza... but very over-priced. Probably okay for college students 'cause it's right across the street from UNT. I understand it's a staple of the college experience, but it's not worth the price. Cramped seating inside, bars on both sides, tons of drunk students & druggies running around, dim lighting, slow service, etc. You're better off getting the pizza to-go & enjoying it at your home with friends.
Do not order take out unless you want to be told it will be ready in twenty minutes, and then sit and wait in the shop for 25 minutes after you arrive and accounted for the 20 minutes prep time already. Not to mention the unapologetic/rude staff given the circumstances. For management - this was for shift workers from at least 7 o’clock to 7:45. I was dealing with the brown haired gentleman at the take out window who appeared that he couldn’t care less.I was accompanied by a few other customers shaking their heads in disappointment and also telling me “they’re 5 minutes-ing me to death.” But, I will say the pizza was pretty good ultimately.
Wow! Gross. Red Barron is way better.Very very little toppings, super dry with a light drizzle of thinned out sauce. I wouldn’t eat it if offered for free. Do not recommend, I was scammed out of $19.
Food was delicious! However, the pizza took a while and it wasn't hot, but it was still enjoyable. Unfortunately, the cashier had an attitude and did not make us feel welcome. I'll make sure to order pick up or delivery next time to minimize interactions with the staff.
The pizza was 12' and unlimited toppings for $14. The crust was thin and I wouldn't really say the pizza tasted good for the price. The cheesecake slice was so tiny and I paid $2.99. Overall the whole was not worth the price. The cheesecake wasn't spectacular especially for how much it cost and the size. The picture of the cheesecake makes it look bigger due to angle but assure you it was incredibly small.
Amazing pizza for the price! I can spend 11$ for a drink and a whole half pizza and be fed for half the day ?Plus funny videos in store while I wait? Heck yeah ?
Hip little pizza joint on frye street serving up slices of goodness, great spot to dive into for lunch specials. I go here often now for lunch.
Pizza was very good, we ordered a 18" for 2 people and was enough, we ordered half jalapeño and half with meat and every ingredient felt of quality, pizza was not overdone even if it's thin crust, just note that the bathrooms are closed after 10 PM but we arrived at 9:30 and they were already closed, you would have to go to the bar next door and ask for it.
