Been here before and had a bad experience. Decided to try it again and they redeemed themselves today. Ate the 3 piece dark with beans, salad and sweet tea. Tea was on point. Chicken was small for the cost but flavorful, beans were great, salad was delicious and the roll (previously not mentioned) was soft and good! The mid afternoon ambience was good. Employees were on point and courteous. Fresh chicken in the pit and it was all a great experience today. Thanks and glad I decided to try it again!
Delicious ? food. Clean, plenty of comfortable seating and prompt service. The brisket was some of the best I've ever eaten.
If you are a poultry or beef consumer you will love the smell of this place. I ordered the crispy drumstick with the Texas Dust flavor. The texture and crispness was there. At first flavor was subtle, but as I started watching the ones on the bottom it came to life. Maybe that’s by design. Had to add salt and pepper to macaroni. All and all decent place.
Never a bad experience here. Great food great service. Absolutely love the BBQ Sandwich. So good and mouthwatering awesomeness....❤
Way overpriced. Small portions. I get better rotisserie chicken from supermarket. I should have went somewhere else to wait on my car to charge.
First time trying cowboy chicken. All my family and I can say is WOW and Mmm. The food is amazing and the desserts are even better! We’ll definitely be going back. It’s been a long time since we found such a good tasting place!
My only complaint is not food but loyalty program has never worked. I've done everything asked for several years & have yet to get a single gratitude point. Not holding my breath on latest policy.Good luck contacting corporate. App doesn't work. Tried 3 times yesterday, 2 different devices.Food great, loyalty... politicians are more dependable.
Lemme get this out of the way first…Cowboy chicken is. It a mom-n-pop place. You can perfect your app so when a family takes 20 minutes ordering late it does not tell them at the END that it’s too late to place an order. Add a time clock so at least people know the “end is night!” This happened to me. I called 48 minutes before close and was told that within the last hour no orders could be taken online or in-app. Seriously…. But, the store did take my order and allow a pickup. I arrived 22 minutes before close. Many items not available and it was clear they were not making more (and I’m not talking about slow-roasted chicken). I will say that I was somewhat impressed when we said “You can go to Canes across the street to get tea and you can go…”. She did give me great places to fill the gaps and I did. So a negative for not having food while you are open but a positive that she was willing to help out.The food is always incredible here. I mean really good. The chicken is perfect, enchiladas are world class. Sides are stupid good.Cmon Cowboy Chicken. Fix that app and add a timer or simply stop them from ordering past a certain time.
I usually love Cowboy chicken. They are usually great. Went there a few nights ago to grab takeout for the family and they forgot a lot of my order. Not once, but twice. Double check your takeout, guys!
