Love Cotton Patch but this was the worst experience of all. We went in last night at 730, group of 7. We were seated right away but there were only about 4 other tables seated when we got there. One person in our party asked for limes, was brought lemons and told they didn't have limes, but another server brought limes. Ordered fried pickles, they were out, 6 of 7 of us ordered baked potatoes, 4 got, other 2 given mashed potatoes as they ran out of baked potatoes. Would have chosen a different side had we been told, mashed potatoes were not good. Chicken and dumplings was very thick and wasn't able to be eaten. Of the 7 of us, 2 have gotten sick since eating there. Will not be back.

They have $7 lunch specials, however I felt ignored the first 10 minutes. People who came in after me had drinks before anyone asked me what I wanted to drink. My lunch special came, looked good BUT it was cold. :( I asked for a box and now I'm going to microwave it at work so I can eat it. A major let down. The waitress was friendly though and she gave me extra rolls to go. And the rolls were really good.

It's been a while since I've had a meal at Cotton Patch. I use to go to the Flower Mound location, so I figured, why not give this location a shot. It was a mistake. Short on staff but maybe 5 tables to cover. They had 5 servers, that should be 1 server per table. But nope short staffed. They served rolls and after my wife and I grabbed a roll each, the was a long hair on the basket that was under the rolls. Ok easy enough to ask for a replacement. Asked for refills, again only 5 tables and 1 of them walked out due to not having 1 of the 5 servers stop and talk to them. Couldn't get a refill for a while but when it finally came, there was a bug in the tea. ?‍♂️ Strike 2! Our meal finally came out. Looked great, until my wife looked at her mashed potatoes. They looked grey, server tried to play it off as that is the way garlic mashed potatoes look. ? Um no they don't. They switched out for a baked potato but once she went to take a bite, found the potato to be rotten. Moved all the over load of sour cream, cheese, and chives to find the whole potato was completely rotten. Probably why the potatoes were grey. ? Strike 3! They did take a couple charges of but still surprised I didn't get sick from the food. I will say that yes I still gave 15% tip because they are working hard, but I'm not there for the friendly smile, I'm there for the food. If I had to recommend this location I would say go somewhere else. Would I recommend the food, I would say check everything before eating it, if you plan to go to this location.

After waiting an hr and 15 minutes three out of three members of my party couldn't eat their burger because they were so dry. My meatloaf was cold and the ketchup on top was like jello. The manager tried to tell us that this is how the food was supposed to be... On top of that they were not short staffed. All the staff was just too busy screwing around to actually do their jobs.

While in the past I have thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant their food is usually very good and served promptly. my last 2 to go orders have taken over 30 minutes with me in the building waiting after ordering and driving there . Staff just stare at you and reluctantly offer to assist you if you make eye contact. and each time they've told me they didn't have rolls ready despite the fact that the order was placed 30 to 45 minutes before I'm walking out the door. Not one time have they even said that they were sorry or my apologies or offered to discount me on my next meal like even a $1 or 2, or anything to make up for very slow inconsistent service with an incomplete meal.

There is an online special every Tuesday where you buy one entrée get one free. I ordered The shiner fish with mac & cheese and fries as well as the chicken salad sandwich and a house salad (pictured). My order was ready BEFORE the time the website quoted me, awesome! I was greeted and helped within seconds of walking in. The staff was kind. The place was clean. Food was very good! I would recommend for someone looking for a fair price and tasty food with gracious portion sizes.

Good down home cooking Don't miss the squash casserole. Tomato Basil soup was very good and they have fluffy yeast rolls. I had the vegetable plate and it was only 10 for 5 great choices included soups,, salads and a large variety of veggies and starches. My next visit i will try one of the many meat entrees

Who gives someone chicken fried steak with no gravy??? It was to-go, so no fixing it. Mac n cheese tasted like it had been reheated several times, and corn was flavorless and mushy. So disappointed I spent over $40 for this sad meal.

Do not understand what is going on with this place. If we come for lunch and it’s busy we are seated quickly and get good service. Come in on Sunday night and only a couple of tables have people and we are told 30 minutes to even order. Been here at the table for 15 minutes and haven’t even taken a drink order. I don’t know what the problem is but I don’t know if I will be back.

Food was great, but communication could have been better. Ordered family meal for curbside pick up. Arrived at confirmed pick up time and called to say I had arrived. Was told order would be right out. Fifteen minutes later I called to say I was still waiting. Was told at that time they had to brew the sweet tea that you are required to order with a family meal. I told them I could have done without the tea. Fifteen minutes later my order showed up with 2 employees carrying 4 extra large cups of tea. They informed me they had No gallon jugs or cup carriers. I told them to give me the food and they could keep the tea. Just wish they had explained the whole tea situation when I arrived. Don’t know why 1 gallon of tea is required to order with family meals. Did I say the food was good!
