First off the waiter looked uninterested to wait on us. The crossiants were cold . We got chips and queso, steak meal with salad and chicken tender meal with salad. The queso was good but cold the chips were stale, steak chewy, chicken tenders chewy. The only thing good was the queso but it wasn’t hot , the fries were ok, the salad was ok. They should warn people that there is eggs in the side salad though. Once the waiter gave us our Togo boxes he never came back so we could pay. Very sad customer service the place wasn’t even packed. We will never be back to this location.
I was very impressed with the service, quality of the food, the prices and the amount. I had the veggie plate which comes with the choice of 4 sides and either a salad or soup. I couldn't resist the fried cheese bites! They were definitely an indulgence with the perfect amount of batter to cheese. We received the complimentary croissants and they were warm and gooey and delicious. Our server, John, was very attentive and friendly. We had a fun time!
I was very disappointed in Cheddars in Denton. The comparison between Denton and Sherman's Cheddars is about 70% Sherman is Great. This Denton Cheddars, the salad almost looked like it had been frozen in some parts of it and some parts looked like it was taken right off the head and not washed and it was disgusting. You can see the lettuce looked gross. Plus some of it had rust on it. My steamed broccoli didnt look very fresh either, how ever I don't have a pic of it. Very disappointed. Wont be going to this Cheddars again.
This is the first time that we have been to Cheddars. To say we were not impressed would be an understatement. Pricing was good, but that was it. My wife ordered the steak and shrimp with a baked potato. The potato was cold, the shrimp was alright and it looked like the grill needed to be cleaned. I ordered the grilled chicken fettuccini alfredo with broccoli. Minimal sauce. The chicken tasted like it was frozen / pre-packaged like you would buy at WalMart. The amount of broccoli was so much that it filled up most of the bowl. Wine selection was poor (barefoot cab / beringer cab and Mark West Pinot Noir) Noisy (loud music, patrons playing videos on their phones) At least we can say that we tried it. Avoid if you can.
We're trying a variety of items. Chicken fried chicken, country fried steak, a salad and a cajun pasta dish. Everyone liked what they had ordered. We really enjoyed the crescent rolls that were brought while waiting on the main order.
First time here. Amazing food. Good portion sizes. Super friendly staff. Will go back whenever I crave comfort food.
I come to this location all the time so this is my first unpleasant experience (for what it’s worth). My children and I went here to eat (I just came from working out ) therefore I was very hungry. Let me just jump to the sh*t show. We sat down near the bar area and Alexis (the bartender) assisted us. I should’ve know it was going to take her forever because she took too long to ask for our order. And that’s were it all began. No silver ware was given to us . After being there for 30 min I asked for croissants (they came back burnt )so my kids did not want them . Please be advised we ordered our food 25 min before asking for the croissants . Another waitress Jane notice we had been there a while and ask how can she assist. (Very nice young lady) So I told her how long I’ve been waiting. Jane checked our order and notice nothing was entered. Remember all I ordered was 1 chicken strip platter for the boys and a salad for me. A young man came in 30 minutes after I did and had his meal within 15 minutes . Keep in mind my children and I still haven’t received our meal. To make a long story short I ended up telling her “I don’t need anything give me my ticket for my drinks and I’m leaving” she apologized” however after an hour and a half (I was over it )I spoke to a manager Paul and let’s just say he turned my frown upside down and he is an awesome manager if it wasn’t for him I would not go back.Thank you Paul and Jane you guys ROCK ?
Cheddar's never disappoints!! We had a great time!! Our server, I think her name was Jane, was simply superb!! Friendly, helpful, engaging but not intrusive...The food has changed somewhat. There are different things on the menu now... but is still the same quality I remember! I had the Coconut Shrimp and chicken tenders with Cole slaw and broccoli cheese casserole.. and it was delicious!! Highly recommend going to Cheddar's !!!
Great food selection! Food is tasty! Very nice server! Plenty of seats. Clean bathroom. Price is reasonable.
This location is beautiful, and a little tricky to get to if you don’t know how to. The service is the reason for four stars instead of five. The food was great, the server was good, but not exceptional. She seemed more interested in another customer she obviously knew. She was slow and got things mixed up, not just at our table but also at others. If we have caught her while that person wasn’t there it might have been a different experience, but making other customers (I wasn’t the only one) feel like they are secondary isn’t preferable when dining.
