While I and many others can wholeheartedly say that Brisket Burger does in fact make a damn good burger, one thing I had a small issue with comes with pricing and value. Ordering for myself and getting the cheapest items I could, I walked away spending about $11-12. What I received tasted pretty good, really! However, it just reminded me that I could go to similar burger places and get comparable quality for a lower price - or I could get unlimited fries, more toppings, etc.The restaurant is reminiscent of an older burger stand, with not a lot of room for movement. It's got a classic feel, which I can appreciate! The staff did great! They were very helpful and welcoming. I could tell they were working their hardest, and I appreciated their enthusiasm!I'd like to reiterate though: the burgers taste great! This place is certainly at least worth a try or two. However, if Brisket Burger is looking to compete with other Denton burger spots, I think they'll have to modify a few things. If certain items were just a couple dollars cheaper, this would be an undeniable slam-dunk.
My brother recommended this burger place for the longest time. When I initially walked in the place it was clean. I ordered the FireSide burger and a side of jumbo onion rings. My brother ordered the breaded Chicken Club. The burger was delicious. The bun had jalapeños infused in it. It also had fresh sliced jalapeños and caramelized onions which were so good. The jumbo onion rings were actually jumbo straight up massive. My brother offered me a bite of his chicken club. Words can’t describe how good that chicken club is. The chicken was seasoned and juicy. The only flaw this place has is maybe the wait time. I waited roughly 15 mins but I wasn’t in a rush. I’m for sure coming back!
I’ve been planning this visit for a long time and I can say I’m not disappointed. A suggestion for new customers. Look online at the menu before coming, they have a huge selection of food and most of it looks good. The pressure to pick out one thing with hungry people behind you in line in real.We tried a burger (black and blue) and a brisket Philly. We also added on a couple ribs and a little sliced brisket just to judge the bbq.Food Review: this is not a place to come for the BBQ tried ribs and brisket and ribs were better than brisket but neither to the quality you hope for in Texas. I will say the homemade bbq sauce was very good, sweet and tangy.Burger was excellent, and the French fries were maybe highlight of the entire meal. What ever you order just make sure you get French fries with it.Service was excellent very helpful girl tried to help us by pointing out a few of her favorites.Drinks: good selection coke products which I prefer to horrible Pepsi. Had a couple beers on tap as well.Desert: They also had some incredible looking pies for desert but we ate so much bbq and burgers we couldn’t pull the trigger.Ambiance: place holds about enough for 60 people with 5 booths and 15 tables. There are a couple of tvs. Nothing fancy but what you would expect for a burger/bbq joint.Summary: I will be back! and focus on the burger side of the menu and of course get those fries again
Next to my hotel, good rating, so I tried it out. I ordered a frito burger and fried mushrooms. I waited much longer than it should take to fry mushrooms, but was told that was the delay. Burger was both overcooked and cold. Burger had a ton of mustard on it, a side cup of chili, and a handful of pickles and fritos. How did this place get a good rating??
Made from scratch with natural seasonings cooked up by the nicest guys you could meet. Fried Catfish and Brisket Sandwich are the best I’ve had anywhere
great food great place clean restaurant
Amazing food and great customer service! Delicious brisket and burgers. The fireside burger was the best!
Loved the food! Fireside Burger so far is my Favorite!
Burgers are great. No complaint. The chili AIN’T it, it’s sweet, should’ve come with a warning. Looks like Texas chili, smells like Texas chili, but sweet is not chili. That would be my only complaint. Oh and the onion rings, batter wasn’t done but they looked decent.
Heading to Oklahome to visit friends and stopped in. Food was great. The brisket had great flavor and I liked the fried okra.
