5 stars no matter how you slice it. Best dang donuts in Denton. That’s a fact.
PROS: This place is open 24/7, isn't one of the many copycat donut shops out there, they've got fair and simple pricing, and some of their donuts (from what I've tried) taste amazing. Seriously, give their filled rounds a try!CONS: The menu options are overwhelming, the donuts aren't always freshly made, and certain things (like the cinnamon roll) fail to wow; even actively disappoint, depending.I love this business model, and think Amy's Donuts could easily prove to be a 5-star experience with time, after a few recipes have been improved upon. Again though, plenty of these donuts are already 5-star eats. Suffice it to say that those who love filled donuts are going to adore what Amy's brings to the table.
My husband and I have been wanting to try Amy's Donuts for a while now so I went to pick up some donuts and was excited to try them and the fact that they're open all day was a plus! I walked in & there was a family in front of me with at least 4 kids & I didn't know the options bc I'd never been there. I couldn't even see the options & the kids were jumping and running around & being quite loud. I was not the only one having trouble looking at the donuts. It was finally my turn and it seemed like every kind I wanted was not available so I chose a few I thought would be good. The service was great, no complaint there at all.. but my husband and I were extremely disappointed. The donuts tasted like they had been sitting out for days and they hardly had any glaze on some. We couldn't even finish them bc they just weren't very good unfortunately. I paid $17 for everything which I thought was a little over priced so I will not be going back there or any other location. I'm sorry to say I would NOT recommend this place ?

Absolutely amazing donuts. A busy place so expect a line. The options you have are not your normal donut shop options. They have about 5-7 times as many. Want cereal on a donut they have. If you want candy bars on a donut, that is also available. The one I tried was called The Heart attack. A donut with peanut butter, marshmallow cream, chocolate and BACON!! This was probably the best donut I have ever had. Stop in and give them a shot. They are open 24hrs a day.
This place is amazing! They have traditional donuts, but I think people go there for the large variety of unique donuts. Everything we've tried so far has tasted great. It's a fun place for the kids, too, with themed donuts. I won't say anymore; go check it out yourself and enjoy!
When you have a craving for donuts after 2 pm this the place to go. There is confetti variety of choices.
To quote my kids their Donut holes are as hard as hockey pucks. Their service good the girl who gave us our order was very nice but even just being donut holes they should be fresh at 6am. Who cares if there is a big selection of specialty if the basics are not good what’s the point.
I really love the different varieties of Donuts available here and they tastes so good. My favourite is Strawberry Shortcake
It’s good that there is a 24hr donut place, but I wish it wasn’t Amy’s. Pretty much all the crazy donuts are just a sugary mess of toppings that make the whole donut just… blah. Even the regular donuts like glazed or chocolate seem to be way over sweet. The pigs in a blanket are ok, nothing special. They’re more of an afterthought for the store, and it shows in the taste.
