Jared was our server and he was wonderful. He gave excellent recommendations and was very attentive without being bothersome. The food was really good. I had the chicken parm ( i would ask for another side instead of the pasta bc it was very plain) which was delicious the chicken was seasoned and cooked to perfection! My mom is a big fan of the liver and onion.
First time at Hobo Joe's!!! Atmosphere is awesome! Absolutely some of the best food I've had in the Sherman/Denison area! Had the liver and onions....BEST I've ever had in my life....Excellent salad and fries too!!!Outstanding staff! I'll be back, and will recommend it to all my family and friends! Thanks for a great meal and great experience!
Food was SURPRISINGLY good! Very hot and fresh, incredibly well seasoned, and one of the best chicken sandwiches and fried pickles I've ever had. We were travelling with our dog, and had great service even sitting on the porch. The GM, Efrain, was working as server and chef, as 3 of his employees had called in that day, and we still had fast and quality service. He was incredibly helpful, funny, and personable-- made a real effort to connect with us. Overall great place, will be visiting again next time we travel through.
Food was good. Server was great. Atmosphere a bit redneck for us. We feel a public place of business should not display their political views. Not saying we are pro or anti just that it sets some people off. Therefore we will most likely not return
Settled for this place cause Hucks was closed and was pretty disappointed. Ordered the hamburger steak, which is one of the most expensive things on the menu. Asked for well done…specifically said burn it. It was so pink I had to send it back the first time. The second one was cooked better but not good. For that price the patty should be a lot bigger. The pile of onions and mushrooms on top was bigger than the hamburger steak itself! And there was little to no flavor. My husband ordered the pork chop and it was great. The waitress was great. I just don’t recommend the hamburger steak!
Hobo Joe's was really good. I wasn't excited to go here, but so glad we did. They have some of the most delicious chicken strip I've eve had. They have the smallest bit of spice to them. So good in gravy!
We didn’t know what to expect when we came. My SO is a musician and several people have mentioned it so we figured we would go try it out! Wow! So, so good. We had spicy cheese curds for an appetizer and that is highly recommended. ? I had the Joe pizza and it was delightful. SO had the chicken parm and said it was great—loved that the pasta wasn’t spaghetti or angel hair. The walls are made to be written on and chalk is provided so have fun! We’ll be back.
Stopped in for a quick bite while passing through and glad we did. Good food and reasonably priced. Quick and friendly service.
