These place is great! The food has been good every time we go here. The menu is reasonably priced. The service is typically good as well. This is our new favorite spot for a nice meal during the week!

First spot I've tried in Denison, awesome authentic Mexican food here. Everything looked awesome, I had the tamale combination plate, they're huge! Great prices, good margaritas, I can see why my sister and her husband go here once a week, I will definitely be back!
Just moved to the area and my husband's coworker recommended this place to us. We've been twice in the last week. So good!! Burrito Gigante and the Chilequilas with grilled chicken.. highly recommend!
We always enjoy El Tap! Great food and service. Try any of their quesadillas, chimichangas, enchiladas. You won't be disappointed. They also have very good drinks!
Food was great, as always. Service was horrible. I can make allowances for hiw busy it was, but the server failed to greet us, just went straight to ordering. After food was delivered, did not see him again until the check was delivered, nearly 10 minutes after we were finished eating. No drink refills, no asking if everything was good, nothing. Perhaps he was new.
Good food, great service! Not crowded. A family friendly atmosphere. And lots of Big Screen TV's so everyone can watch the "games" of your choice. My family and I will definitely be back. Maybe next time I'll order one of the giant Margaritas ? and as a huge bonus it's never really crowded. Plenty of seating!
I could eat here every day of the week. I order the pollo al chipotle and I’m never dissatisfied. It’s consistent. Service is excellent and you can practice your Spanish speaking skills here. Prices are affordable. Great salsa. Guacamole is to die for.

The Pollo Tapatio was on special for $9.99. I was charged $12.I guess he added a tip. It wasn't worth $1.I'd rather eat dog food.The pollo was like shoe leather and tasted like they opened the salt container and just poured it on the food.I like the one in Whitesboro and that one's cheaper.They just stole my money on that nasty meal!! If you love salty, nasty food then you should eat there I don't even want to eat at another El Tapatio after that.1 star is too many.
