Haven't been back in years. I love it here and I love sushi but it's more like a 9 out of 10 now as far as food. Drinks were great and the staff was fantastic. I recommend the Xalapa roll.

Delicious vegetable yakisoba. Veggies tasted super fresh and not over cooked with a crunch to them. Miso soup was nearly flavorless although the abundance of tofu and greens was nice. Yakisoba portion size is laughable for the price. For that reason, prob won’t return very often.

Not the biggest of sushi selection. They do have some unique items though. Sushi was very tasty and very fresh. Restaurant wasn’t busy at all on a Monday evening. Interesting to see they are only open for dinner. My only complaint would be they were short staffed so we had to wait a bit before our order was taken. Otherwise super friendly and helpful service. Definitely recommended.

This place should be rated higher overall. Lots of complaints about price, temperature of the sushi, and worst of all short staffed during pandemic and a time of national labor shortages. The price is on par for the quality of the fish and the temperature is just right. One of the small things that sets them a part is the preparation of the rice (I only eat nigiri or basic hand cut rolls so all the extras can't hide the quality) and they do it right at Zen.Smoked salmon ... ButteryYellowtail... ButterySuper white tuna... ButteryAnd portions were probably bigger than high end Cali/Florida spot'sOddly the thing I thought was over priced was the Pellegrino (1 wine glass full = $5) and miso soups were also $5.If you can't tell the difference between good and really good sushi, go somewhere else, the price won't reflect the differences at Zen but if you know good sushi, there is only a few spots in Dallas to get it... Zen is one.

Always delicious! Awesome service!

Online orders are never working. Called my order at 5:35. They said order would be ready at 6:10. Showed up at 6:15. Said it would be another 20 minutes to get my sushi, while my edamame had been sitting there getting cold for 15 minutes. 2 other customers waiting for their orders over 30 minutes late.

overpriced & disgusting flavorless & dry. super small portions of sushi rolls as well. overhyped for nothing. was not worth it.

I came and wanted to order To go after work. First the servers just ignored .e standing at the door, they noticed I was there but walked to the back. I think this other girl was the MOD bc she was stapling To Go bags walking outside she had short hair. She even walked past me. So finally after watching the servers chatting away. A girl server came and took my order. I got it home and it was cooked Salmon I didn't know that I ordered a spicy salmon roll, ?, I was so looking forward to the one I used to have. Overall the restaurant was very clean

This PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!Listen to me very carefully we ordered like double this food but I kept forgetting to take pictures because it was so good!! We had to reorder the salmon sashimi because it was so good!!It’s so incredibly clear the high standard the master chef has for the food hereThe service was absolutely amazing !! When the wait staff got overwhelmed a little bit the bar staff helped us out!!While it is definitely on the pricier side it’s definitely worth it for a special occasion night.Definitely recommend the hot sake as well!

Simply amazing!! And the staff was very kind and friendly!! Loved the whole experience and food was superb
