Awesome place. I’ve had Ethiopian before but tonight I introduced my husband to it. There are spicy and non spicy dishes. I’m Cajun, I love spicy but he doesn’t. The ambiance was lovely. The service was prompt but not invasive. Our waitress directed my husband away from a spicy choice to a less spicy one and he loved it. Wine, beer and full bar. Just south of French-brown flooring on Greenville. We will be back for sure!
Food was very good. We had a wonderful time sitting, chatting and eating with our fingers. Don't bring or ask for flatware or you will not experience the true culture. We ate the lamb.
Genuinely like this place. Not the best we have ever had but solidly good. Usually pretty empty so the service is quick. The portions are big enough we usually bring some home. A very enjoyable meal every time we come. The do need to turn the AC up a bit though. Gets a tad warm on some nights.
very disappointed and after 16 hours still sick, I placed an order by phone yesterday evening March 4/2022, 1 Lamb awaza Tibs and dry beef Tibs, I told the lady please make it a Medium space, because the way the cook is wrong no one cook Awaza tibs that much space, its look like they put tomuch “barbare” on the top and not cook well or this is not fresh Tibs. sometimes when I went this place to eat the food take in 4 or 5 minutes but we Ethiopian know to make one Tibs at least it took 15 or 20 minutes, so may be its not fresh However, lamb tips tomuch space which is unnecessary and dry tips beef no salt at all... come on guys ??♀️Why don't you guys follow customer instructions, what was the reason? I don’t get it. they were not busy at all, I don't want write review specially Ethiopian restaurant I rather tell them by phone or something but you guys need to respect your customer, if I can give one star, I will, very disappointed again. We have to enjoy our food not suffer.
Ate food from this restaurant twice this month. First Ethiopian food experience in Dallas and was very happy! Both times got the vegetarian sampler for two. Everything was delicious and filling. The green beans are the best! The injera was great, more flavorful than other I have had. Tonight we also had the beef tartar- spicy and fresh.First time we got takeout but tonight we ate at the restaurant. Beautiful space, friendly staff and happy to see a lot of people there. Will definitely continue to support this restaurant.

On Jan 24/2022 at 8:30pm I place order Fish Gulash Togo. The fish is not well done the sauce made with straight up with walmart spaghetti sauce with out any spices not even have small amount ethiopian culture spice called Berbere. Test so horrible ?. I have called them to let them know no answer here is some pictures.I'm very disappointed ?
Handmade authentic food, very good. The coffee is good and strong. The ginger tea is also amazing

Oh we will be back for sure. As a vegan couple, being able to walk into a restaurant and be served a large platter of selections is heaven. We ordered veggie platter for two and was not disappointed.Quick service, friendly staff, clean restrooms, plenty of parking. Hard to see from the street, just follow your sense of smell which will be overloaded with delicious aroma. Devine!
