Unless you made a reservation, be prepared to wait. It's worth the wait. Ask if they have any toro and order it if they do. If you are not sure on what you want, order a boat and have the chef decide and surprise you with what comes out. Their recommendations never disappoint.
This is the WORST sushi I ever hadI Don’t recommend that anyone should come hereMy girlfriend and I came here because this place had 4 star reviews and I would like to rate this sushi place for 0 starBad quality, everything was disgusting, the floors were sticky and dirtyWasted my time and money hereWe found a hair in my sushi and we got diarrheas after eating here !!!!!!!!!The Management did not do anything about it.
Every time I go to Dallas this is a must stop. Everything is fairly priced, and tastes amazing. The curry is amazing, and all of the sushi rolls come out tasting wonderfully. The Salmon Dynamite and double pleasure are my favorite rolls to get. All of the sake tastes amazing, and I normally get fuji apple and then the house sake. I’ve always gone with friends, and everyone always has amazing things to say. Can’t wait to go again.
Just hear friend talk about $1 for nigiri on Tuesday and Thursday night, so that why I was here! And it made me disappointed, the nigiri is too small and not special. The special nigiri is $1.5, it somehow is too small piece too. I even could not taste how it was!!!!! But I recommend the salmon dynamite roll, it has a lot of crawfish, the taste is good!
Best Japanese Food in DFW. Hands down. Period. Been going here for ten years, and I will never stop. The staff is polite and wonderful. Any reviews you read where they aren't, you can guarantee that it was the reviewer that started the sour attitude. These people are incredibly nice. Also, the food is fresh. The restaurant does not smell, and has never smelled. It's funny that those types of reviews only come from people who say they didn't tip (Imagine admitting something like that in a Google review! Wow. Classy!), either. Absolute lies. This place is fantastic, clean, and always on point. Those people must have been smelling their own breath inside their masks. The most authentic Japanese restaurant in DFW, tied only with Mr.Maxx. 10/10.
Everything was amazing! The atmosphere was wonderful, the presentation and flavor of all of the food was perfect. My husband commented that it's the best sushi he's had since Japan and I agree. I highly recommend this little hidden gem!
It's a small restaurant, so seating a large group of us took a while which was understandable. Once we did get seated, it did take a while to place our order and longer to get our food. We ate a lot of sushi and all of it tasted fresh and made your want more. I would definitely go again, but would try going earlier as we were there just over 3 hours for dinner.
Placed order over the phone. Great customer service. Parking wasn’t too bad. Ordered miso soup and it was not traditional miso soup . It was loaded with white onions as if it was for a pho bowl. It was disappointing and quite frankly a waste of money. Sushi however was good.
Sushi takeout was terrible.... there was some dry mystery meat inside... it looked like voldermort's body under the bench in heaven.... it was like an order of sushi for prisoners got made in walmart... then truck got delayed a week and finally arrived at prison with bone dry mystery meat inside dry rice rolls. Sounds good? Well it wasn't.
I love sushi and my husband is willing to try new things that I suggest. He found this little place and was delighted to see the place decorated with anime posters. We were both giddy to sit under a Cowboy Bebop poster. He had the spicy wings and, coming from a man who loves wings so much that he eats them at least 4 times a week, he said these are the best wings that he has ever had. We tried the eel unagi bowl together which was fresh and buttery soft. He had more than Sapporo beer, he liked it so much, and I tried the Soon Hari strawberry sogu, which is very sweet but we talked about trying again with a light colored soda as a spritzer. The service was excellent. We loved the atmosphere.
