Although a little on the higher end, this restaurant is great for it’s fried chicken and sides. They also have a lot of alcohol options and variety. It’s a little pricey but I think it’s nice to at least try it.

1st timers, for early dinner before 6pm.Starters of Deviled Eggs, and Pimento Cheese with seasoned crackers; both very good.Chose The Hot Dang sandwich, The Aristocrat, and Whistle Britches. Side of 3 Mac-N-Cheese. The Hot Dang is named appropriately! All very good, well seasoned. We will return.

I loved this place. The chicken and waffles were amazing. The booths are spacious. They also have a patio outdoors with mist for those hot days. The service was spot on and I would recommend.

Came in around 11 and it wasn’t busy at all. Decided to sit on the covered patio, which felt really good considering how hot Dallas has been. I got the pitcher of strawberry basil mimosas to drink and ordered the Hot Cakes & Tenders. Both were very appetizing!! Server was great as well

The meatloaf was exceptional. I never order meatloaf at a restaurant but the description caught my eye. I was not disappointed. It was served with mashed potatoes and green beans. Both were fresh and delicious. The chicken tenders were typical but better than average as was the potato salad. I wasn’t fond of the biscuits.

Tried WB on a Saturday for lunch. I’ve been wanting to return here for a long time. Will be longer before we return, if we ever do. Cole slaw was outstanding. And the biscuit with strawberry jam a treat. But the fried chicken? Very disappointing. Not much flavor. Needed salt. Crust was crispy but bland. My wife, who doesn’t normally eat fc, tried it but immediately said it was fairly tasteless. Now I love fried chicken which is why we came here, but I remarked to my wife that Tom Thumb’s had more flavor than this. Oh dear. And the service. They weren’t very full but we waited several times. Eventually I had to track down my server to pay the bill; he was playing catch with the bar manager. That’s more fun than waiting on customers apparently.

Half a chicken and half a bottle of Wycliffe 3.99 champagne is not worth $50 very friendly staff though and no parking

Stopped in for a quick bite and we lingered sampling everything! Everything was incredibly delicious - best chicken we have had in a long time! Service was great even during a busy lunch time. The jalapeño corn bread was mouth watering, the biscuits absolutely delightful, the chicken melts in your mouth. If you are in the neighborhood, you should stop in!

I went here with a mate last week at his recommendation. We had put an order in advance to pick up, thinking 20 minutes should be enough time to prep during a non rush time of the afternoon. That was incorrect and I waited another 20 minutes after arriving at the restaurant. 40 minutes to prepare fried chicken for 2 people? That seems a bit long. I compare it to Bubba's in Dallas which I love and it would take Bubba's at most 10 minutes to prepare your meal to go. Whistle Britches is much longer waiting and about 1/3 more $$$. Don't get me wrong, it is great food, but almost $50 for two with tax/tip.

Enjoyed the outdoors seating/patio dining. First time at this location. Most of the meal options are chicken but this time I tried the meatloaf. It’s served with mashed potatoes, green beans, and onions. Overall flavor good although the sauce was almost too sweet for me. Like the flavor of the meatloaf itself better than the glaze.
