I got food poisoning from eating this food last night.It is not made fresh and I don't recommend anyone eating itUpdate:the response I recieved after after acquiring food poisoning was very unprofessional. The food was not fresh at 12 something at night that is a lie.It was not fresh and extremely salty. Instead of accusing customer's of lying fix the issues pertaining to your spoiled food because you are making people sick
Love this place, have been getting takeout there for several years. It's consistently good and fresh. The Triborough and various platters are a treat, but don't overlook their fries, if that's your thing: they're surprisingly good! I love the fact that many of their dishes are spicy, yet never seem to upset my stomach.
I was itching for something healthy to eat. I was amazed by the prices and the amount of food I received. I ordered a stuffed cheese beef bell pepper and included salad on the side. The cheese stretched almost all the way to my mouth and it was gooey and filled with flavor. The beef kebab is well cooked and combined it's juices with the cheese and pepper. It is a match made in heaven. The sauces are really great and goes well with everything on my plate. I even added the sauces to my salad and it gave it a new flavor that was mouthwatering. I couldn't believe that i payed $14 for this and it was well worth it. This restaurant has a variety of things to choose from and seem endless. I recommend this place to everyone and especially gluten free people like myself as well.
Consistency is HUGE with me and this place is ALWAYS consistent. I love their shrimp over rice bowl! Perfectly seasoned and a big portion! I will come here every time I’m in the area! Oh and the baklava! *chefs kiss*
This is the spot to go to when everywhere else is closed and you’re a night owl at 1am working, partying, traveling or whatever it is you’re doing at an atypical hour.They are fast and efficient. 5 stars for availability and speed but 3 stars for health. I’m sodium sensitive and treat myself to a meal out but Wava Halal maxes out my sodium intake for an entire month’s diet. Less salt please. It will actually be so much tastier, not to mention healthier for your clients.
Always a big fan of this place! Great customer service and great food. It's hard to find a place with good quality AND good quantity, but Wava Halal never disappoints. The employees are always a pleasure to talk to; very nice guys. Can't wait to go back!
I read the reviews and was pretty excited. I love halal guys and Mediterranean food. I got the lamb/beef with rice as advised by the guy working there. Meat was way too salty and 1/3 of it was burned.. like crunchy burned. Not sure if it was supposed to be like that. Fries were good. Sauces were okay. Giving one star as I couldn’t even finish my job plate.. over salted burnt meat isn’t really appetizing
The food was delicious, customer service was above beyond, definitely will back again.
This place is so so so so so so so good!!!Some of the best Greek food in Dallas.There's not a single place in Dallas I can think of that even comes close to touching these guys.Also, I used to manage a Greek restaurant in deep ellum.This food is way better than ours was. HahaFood is badass.I order from here like every week.
Best rice and chicken and gyros. They are truly different than all the rest of the halal carts where the food is similar. Can't wait to go their again. Highly recommended !
