Took forever, the food was wrong, the food was cold and gross. This location needs to be trained properly. Waffle house has a whole system built to make orders go out quickly and keep the location running smoothly. The waiters have no idea how to call an order (never did out loud) and the grill operators don't know how to mark plates. Watching them fumble around for 30 minutes waiting for a basic order and not having a clue as to who ordered what. Then people getting partial orders and then getting the rest when the other person is done eating. Plus people had to leave it took them so long to complete cooking orders. Spent 10 minutes to pack up their order in to-go boxes. Then they congratulated each other on a job well done after several people left without ordering cause they were so slow. "Awful house" needs to do better!! Incompetent location. If you aren't in a hurry or dont want your food the way you asked for it feel free to waste your time eating here.
I've heard about this place being ghetto and they are absolutely right. I went at 6am, they had the doors closed, they told me to order to go, I head to that area for them to ignore me like I'm not just standing there. I check their website it says 24/7. I call the phone thinking I'm missing something just for the workers to watch it ring and the voice-mail even says this location is open but isn't taking orders over the phone. So I get out and go to the window AGAIN, for the worker to keep looking up and literally shaking her head at me. She couldn't even come to the window to let me know what is going on or even to say they're not open when they clearly were. Horrible!
Me and my friends came here after a night at red river and idk who was working but it was some quiet white girl and African American guy working and they were really sweet and the African American dude made the BEST hashbrowns and chocolate waffle I ever had in my life, homie put his mf soul into it? Mind you I’m 7 months pregnant and I constantly crave Waffle House hashbrowns and this was my first time to one sober ever and it did not disappoint.
Worst experience ever! We were traveling through Franklin, KY this morning, and we stopped at The Waffle House at 6:20 am. We were the only ones there, and there was one employee on duty, but he was SOUND asleep against a metal door when we walked in. We tried several times to awaken him to no avail. Another couple arrived about ten minutes later, and the wife finally woke him up after repeatedly calling out to him loudly. He told us that he could not take any orders until a server arrived, but one was not scheduled to arrive until 7:00!!! The other couple left, as did we. We watched two men enter the restaurant, and then watched them leave too. Pic is of the employee, “Darrell”, sleeping when we arrived.
If I could give any more than 5 stars, I would. This is the ONLY Waffle House in America who can manage to cook my hash browns how I like them. The young lady who is serving at night is also super sweet. 10/10
Staff was great. The burger was small and not that great. But I was glad I ordered a waffle also. I'm a new fan.
The menu is the same as any other waffle has great breakfast food and lunch and dinner. Staff was very pleasant and cheerful. Got steaming hot food quick and it tasted great. Nothing I can think of to complain about.
It's 8:15 p.m. there are two gentlemen in there eating steak and eggs. I walk in in the waitress tells me that it's to go only and that she can't serve me even though other people are in there eating. Waffle House I'm really trying to keep being a customer of yours but this whole thing is going south fast. No one responds to my reviews this is the second one star review I've given this month to two different Waffle Houses. This is just sad and a shame.
A great experience from beginning to end. They have a greeter who made sure you would be seated timely without issues. The server was polite also... And great food. Will definitely go back.
Stopped by for breakfast, this was my first time eating here. My fiancé & I were seated quickly. We ordered & the food came out quick. The waffles were delicious!! They were the Pecan waffles. I highly recommend those are a MUST! I just got the typical breakfast with bacon & eggs w/ hashbrowns & buttered toast. ??? Definitely will be back when we are in the area again. ??
