Food was good but the neighborhood kinda sucks there was a shootout ridiculously close with automatic weapons so that was fun
Waffle House is always good and this one is on another level. The service was great, even though it was super busy. Chelsea was wonderful, super fun and fast. The cook Jimmy, makes the best eggs. I asked for over easy, expecting that it would be just ok. They came out perfect. Fully cooked and solid whites, liquid yolks, just perfect!
It is so important to acknowledge your customers especially when the customer has been standing at counter for more than 10 or more minutes. Deanna could have acknowledged her customers appropriately and in a timely manner. Instead of cleaning and pouring coffee after asking for help she said “I will be with you in a minute all the while she is peddling around stacking coffee cups. This is definitely poor customer service. I did not rate this service she did by reaching over the counter to push those 5 stars! Good customer service still exists; please use graciously and unapologetically! Have a nice day!
I work here come eat we have good food and good conversation for you to keep you interested. And we make sure your pleased with your meal. So come eat at the waffle house on Illinois and Keats. Be blessed to have you there yes Lord.
This place just cannot get it together. Sad it's the closest one to me, I have to check my order every single time. There's always a 98% chance of them making the meals wrong even when they are ordered basic. Eggs sausage hash browns. Oops no eggs. But they added pickels to the breakfast one time. Please just burn this place to the ground.
I don’t know why but every staff here seems to be mad at the world. Cant take a simple drink order right, let alone know how to cook over easy eggs. Pathetic. 5 servers and all are just sitting down giggling.
No customer service took them 15 minutes to take our to go order and we waited a hour for 2 All Star meals, while people who came in after us received there food. No sense of urgency and felt like they didn’t want to service us cause our color or something but treated all others with courtesy will never go back and was about to walk out. Rude staff and not professional at all!!!
So this is the first time I have experienced a Waffle House close part of the restaurant never NEVER have I had this happen for some reason I don’t believe this is common any other Waffle House I go to I have never come across this by far the only one where the staff make their own decisions on where and when to serve even though it’s 24 hrs or so I believed this is an on going situation I was told we are waiting on the next shift can’t serve you right now I’m definitely getting a hold of corporate really sucks since I love coming to Waffle House
I usually never had a issue at this location till today. The cook was trying his best I don't know if he was knew or something but he was trying and the lady with dreads was just grilling him. This is wrong that's wrong, start over, you suppose to do this, while just standing there and literally came me like 4 times asking me what I ordered. There was no communication just bickering. I felt bad for the chef he really tried. Maybe if he had some co workers that would lend a hand maybe things would be run smoothly. I will go to a different location.
I try to visit Waffle House when I am near one. The waffle and eggs were cooked to order. My group enjoyed everything we had. Took leftovers home. Our server DeDe was timely and mostly available. It was Black Friday, so busy there.
