Amazing french bakery located right off the Katy Trail! Some of their pastries are just huge. I highly recommend their Chocolate Kouign-amann! It's crispy and flakey on the outside, yet soft but still flakey on the inside with layers of chocolate chip goo (assuming you asked them to toast it for you). Simply delicious! I've been back here many times!
My sister brought me here to try the pastries... they are so tasty and well made! I definitely want to go back and try the coffee, too.
VB used to have the best ham and cheese in town ... both sandwiches and croissants. Something happened to the ham ... it is not fresh like it used to be. Tastes and looks more processed ... like deli meat now. Please don't save pennies in raw material to lose dollars in customers.
Decided to Uber Eats from this bakery this morning, and I have to say I'm really disappointed. The crossiants I received were nearly burnt, and wasn't the soft crossiant I was hoping for! The paste inside was good, but I think they need to make sure every pastry going out their door is good quality (otherwise they can't seriously justify the $6 price tag).
Coffee was delicious. Got two lattes and it was creamy and delicious. Also got a quiche which was really good and a heated up soppresata sandwich. Bread was fluffy. Would highly recommend And a good jump off for Katy trail

Y'all need masks! ?High quality and well presented, but can be more hygienic. Employees without masks are handling food, hanging over it, breathing into it. In the age of Covid, no one should be allowed near food without a mask. Unmasked employees put everyone at risk!As the French say: Port du masque obligatoire! ??
This is our favorite bakery hands down! We always pick up almond croissants for friends and family. Their sour dough loaves are amazing. I honestly have not had a bad thing from here.
This is always going to be one of my favorite bakeries. There's just something about their goods that makes me hungry.
