Horrible customer service. It was getting close to closing time and I called ahead and spoke to the gentleman on the phone. I arrived at 5:59pm and they pulled the open sign right in front of me. There was still people checking out in the store. The man at the counter looked immediately at me when I walked in even though the door was unlocked. What a complete jerk. Not a good experience for someone visiting town and a first time shopper.
Great gluten free desserts. They also do vegan and keto. They have a cake of the month that is always delicious.
I ordered the lemon cupcake and it was unlike any local bakery item I have tried from other places around Dallas. It truly tastes unrefined! Do not expect some super sweet dessert. You can taste the very simple ingredients and it tastes like something you can make from scratch at home. Even the lemon taste is very, very subtle. Hinting at no artificial ingredients. You would be making a smarter choice if you go here. If that is what you are into, then I recommend it. If Cheesecake Factory type of dessert is more your thing, then I would pass this up.
It is always a pleasureful treat at Unrefined Bakery. I was fortunate enough to discover them about 5 years ago. This, and the other 3 locations I have been to, never disappoint. So much to choose from to fit any dessert desire. Check out the breads by having one of their delectable sandwiches, SO GOOD!
I love this bakery. The cupcakes are excellent. My one suggestion would be to change your name of the “monkey” cupcake. As a Black person I don’t want to buy a cupcake calls a monkey because it’s offensive. Thanks for your understanding.
This place is great! They make everything taste so good, without any of the bad stuff! The pizza is my favorite, so so good, it's the only pizza I eat anymore. Damaris and Jacki are so nice, and will help in anyway they can! 10/10!
