I accidentally made the reservation for outside. We arrived at 4:50. It was over 100 degrees outside and they asked to wait outside as they were not open yet. We sat at an open table and were delivered water which was so nice. A couple of minutes later they asked us to move because we couldnât sit at a table we had to sit at one of the benches. I feel like they should have said something before sending us back outside. Someone comes out to seat us and mentions outside. I told him I mistakenly made the reservation for outside. (I have a heart condition and cannot withstand serious heat for too long) He said he would ask the host stand to move us and accommodate (I never mentioned my heart condition because itâs very private to me). No one came back out until 5:13 when we went to the host stand and asked to sit at the community table to get out of the heat. Once inside no one came to our table for over 10 minutes. Finally the original guy that sat us said, âno one has helped you yet?â Laughs âyeah that happens sometimesâ. My husband went to the host stand to get an update on seating time if possible. They said they had to see if all of the reservations showed. A few minutes later the older blond woman goes to the couple next to us, who got here significantly later than us,offering them a table. At this point it is past 5:35 and no one has even offered us drinks. My husband goes back to the host stand and the woman says that she thought the couple she offered a table to was us. We finally get sat and do not have great service. Our sever was rarely at the table and we had to flag down other staff for new napkins etc. We come to uncommon ramen every month and constantly have sub par service. However this debacle at the host stand could have been avoided by either telling us âno Iâm so sorry we cannot accommodateâ or keeping us updated. Not a single time did a manager check on our table or offer condolences for the negligence of the host staff.Food was amazing as always

Uchiba is hands down the best Japanese restaurant I have been to. I celebrated my birthday there and the server was very attentive and gave excellent recommendations on what to eat. Every dish we ordered was heavenly and had a perfect combination of flavors. The wagu beef skewers and wild sea bass were my favorites. The dumplings were a nice surprise. Also we got a lot of food for our money. Everything is meant to be shared and I enjoy ordering a bunch of different dishes tapas style. Order the fried milk for dessert. It wonât disappoint.
What an amazing experience! I live in Atlanta and tried this restaurant based on a suggestion from a friend. It’s a Japanese tapas restaurant and every dish that I tried was spectacular. The service was exceptional and each time a dish was presented, the staff explained helpful information. The restaurant was busy, but that didn’t create any delays with the food being delivered to our table. You can’t go wrong here. As a bonus, you must try the fried milk dessert!
