These reviews HAVE TO BE LYING!! The salt and pepper fish and shrimp was SUPER SALTY! Not only that VERY SMALL PORTIONS! I was very disappointed as I was tricked by the reviews. Save your money and get seafood from sharks or somewhere they really feed you at.
I have been wanting to try this place for so long but it’s far from where I live. While visiting a client in the area I decided to stop by.This place almost killed me. First of all my wings were not done and they were so soft and salty. I literally choked eating them.My rice was hard and I am sure I had an allergic reaction to something in this food. I didn’t eat anything else. I know for a fact I’m allergic to msg and I’m not sure if that’s in their food, but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had after eating anywhere. I haven’t been able to eat in 2 days. Won’t go back!
The salt and pepper wings are FIRE. The hush puppies might be the most flavorful in Texas. The catfish is always fresh and delicious. But seriously, if you dont try those wings you are 100% missing out and I feel sorry for you.
Clean, fast, and friendly. The crawfish we're good and spicy, although pretty small in size. I would pass on the wings next time and have posted pix for reference.
I really loved eating here. The service was amazing and they were very helpful! The crawfish was incredibly delicious and I loved it. The dining area was clean and new. I'm definitely going back!
I happened to be in the area and have been craving crawfish. I couldn’t be happier that my iPhone brought me to this place. Their crawfish are great size, and the flavor is absolutely amazing. I live just a mile away from the Dallas famous “Boiling Crab”, and I would put this right up there in terms of flavor. The bonus, you don’t have to wait for hours on the weekend and TJ’s prices blow any of the competition away!!This restaurant is a black-owned family restaurant and I felt very welcomed by the girl at the counter.(Sorry I didn’t catch her name) Even when they were about to close on a Saturday night, she was very friendly letting us know and didn’t make us feel rushed.I will be back this weekend with my dad and many times after that.
Well I found a hidden spot..They got Fish, shirmp, boudin balls, chicken wings, and ?! The have dine-in and take out. The prices are reasonable. My food was hot and fresh. Nothing was over cooked. It was light and refreshing. I enjoyed every bite. Oh yeah and the house tarter sauce is Delicious! I will be back.
Had 2 lbs of boiled crawfish. It was delicious! Just the right amount of spice per my request, good sized crawfish, very clean and nice atmosphere! Highly recommend and I will be back!
I like the new location. Used to be across street from my job but I enjoy the 7 minute drive. Always fresh. My fav of course are the lemon pepper wings! The front counter girl with afro puff is the sweetest!
This place is not how remember it when it was at the other location. Every portion was smaller and the taste of every thing was bad taste like they haven't changed there grease in weeks. I will not be returning.
