Not what I was expecting. We came from out of town and were looking for an elegant lounge. Thought this place looked nice but it wasn't all that elegant. The 2nd story was very neglected and nothing much was going on there. The toilet upstairs was in what seemed like a utility room. The drink was good though.
Awesome bar! Classy, fun, and drink menu is great. I highly recommend a visit. I come through every time I'm in Dallas.
Excellent place for a small group gatherings , great ambiance. There was no live music instead there was a DJ. Drinks are price and there is no food not even snacks so you are obligated to go out for eating after you are drunk!!
Great cocktails. Not too busy on a Wednesday night. Great service. Great music.
Iv gone here a few times in past years but hadn’t gone in the most recent years. But it’s very different from how I remember it being. The bar used to have more of a high-end/ exclusive ambience feel to it that you would experience and remember. However that is not what I saw or experienced at all when I went this past weekend. The drinks were decent, the staff was attentive and the music was a little too loud. I’m not sure if they have new management or whatever the case might be. I definitely felt bummed out when I left the bar because this is definitely more of a casual bar/ club now and not The Tipsy Alchemist I remember.
This place was absolutely amazing. Cindy and Vienne went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, assisted in moving us tables and gave the best recommendations. I loved the Espresso martini and the seasoned popcorn was an added bonus. Between the great music and incredible staff, 10/10 will be coming back!
Drinks are pricier and it's a small little area, but cool ambiance. Go to the 2nd floor for the bar. There's a small open area there to stand and mingle. It's nice for the experience, but the drinks aren't special and there's not a big space to sit and chill. Otherwise, it has fun music and the place is decorated in a fun way!
great bar, reminds me of New York City. Only thing that sucks is on Saturdays its hard to get a drink at the bar. This place needs at least 5-6 bartenders instead of 3. Also, I recommend you show up schwasted at this place and just mingle.
Most delicious drinks in Austin and extremely entertaining to watch them make them . Truly a work of art ! Recommend this to anyone who come to rainy street and is looking for a more sophisticated laid back atmosphere.Great staff and amazing drinks .
Went for NYE with a group of 10. We had bottle service on the 2nd floor. It was as NYE and a Friday night so you can imagine how crazy it was. Kim was our host for the night and she did an amazing job. Everyone in my circle was impressed at how frequently she came back to check on us and communicated effectively. Will definitely be back soon.
