My husband and I were extremely pleased and surprised at the quality of the food at the guest service the cleanliness and just the all around vibe.

I like this place. I'm a 52 year old queen, so I remember when this place was Cross Bar way back in the day. That place was trashy as hell. This Ivy Tavern place isn't trashy at all. It's really nice. Gay, straight, whatever...this is a place where everybody can kick it.

I love coming here, my favorite local bar. The new bartender Shelby is so dope as are the other ones. Especially when my guests and I start hogging the jukebox, not even one complaint (They deserve a raise solely for enduring my awful music taste ?) Been coming for almost a year now and I've never had a bad time. My only complaint is that they tend to ignore guests but they're so busy most of the time I understand. Best bar in Dallas!

My company hosted a Happy Hour at The IVY and had the best experience. The team enjoyed all their time and the staff at The IVY were so inviting and made the night so easy for us! We appreciate all the work they did to help us have a team building experience in the patio!

Never judge a book by its cover (unassuming spot, no curb appeal). Great kitchen in a classic local dive bar with funk, stellar bar service/servers. If ya don't know, now ya know.

Fun local bar. The owner is always updating the scene and adding to the party. The outside patio is huge. It features covered bar seating, open air table seating and a new covered patio extension that sports TWO pool tables! The bar attracts a diverse, friendly crowd. You will always find someone to hang out with. If you like strong drinks and delicious bar food, the IVY Tavern should be at the top of your list. The bartenders are attentive and keep your Red Cup full. The Red Cup is a double pour and a true bargain.

Bad service, bad signage, no menus to be seen, and massively overpriced drinks. Wouldn't go back. Also an unprofessional owner as shown by the reply.edit: had this at 2 stars, but the owner response is just rude.Where is this place advertised as a dive bar? How are $15 cocktails part of dive bar culture? Why are there no signs? Why did the barman disappear for 15 minutes when we entered the building? Why do you only have 4 beers on tap?!Yeah, 6 on tap, two which were out. so 4.You're a hilariously unprofessional bar owner, good luck :)

Hidden gem of Dallas. Bartenders, food, environment, and people are all awesome.Nothing but great things to say about this place.

Ivy Tavern is a good spot for happy hours or to meet a group of friends, with cheap apps and great drinks. I have to give 3 stars due to the absolutely awful parking situation (only 1 lot in back, otherwise good luck) and the sketchy location (the front door is an arms reach away from a major street, and sitting between a liqour store and a pawn shop). Once you enter the heavy door and it closes behind you, I have no complaints.
