Yum! Mama Joyce Chicken, trust me.. try the spinach. We originally ordered Togo but the dining room is so inviting and bright we decided to dine in. Perfect waitstaff, so helpful. Will definitely be back often!
The Island Spot never fails to deliver. For some time prior to the pandemic, I ate here on a regular basis. The dining experience has not changed. Good customer service and the food was great. I ordered the jerk chicken that came with two vegetables and the portions were huge. I will be back.
First time but definitely not the last. Love the food and the service was awesome. The food is delicious oh my and the drinks are great!! You should definitely come pay a visit. The music is great as well.
Came to Dallas for the weekend and asked a friend good eating places. This was in her top 5 pick. Glad it was cause it was delicious.
We googled Jamaican food while on a turn around trip to the city and this restaurant caught our eye. I'm glad it did! The service was great and the food was even better. Our server made our time in the restaurant most enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

Great Jamaican food, excellent service and the music was a whole vibe! I ordered the Ox Tails and was not disappointed. The portion was not as big as that other place over on MLK but they were tender and fell off the bone. I'll be back to try thier jerk and curry to get the full experience.
My girl and I came here for a date night and may I tell you it was beyond awesome. The service there is soooo welcoming. Our waitress JJ was phenomenal. She was attentive, giving and sooo informative on what to get on the menu. Even though we have gone to the other spot on Carollron, this location was by far the BEST. We will definitely be back. Oh, they drinks y’all! They were delicious!! JJ hook us up with the PainKiller, Hurricane and the Jamaican Mango Margarita and it had ya both lit ??. So please come to this location! You will NOT be disappointed!! -with love
