I have been coming to The Great Outdoors for many years and every location has amazing sandwiches. They cut the meat and cheese in front of you, they have delicious shakes, and everyone that works there is very friendly. All locations get busy during lunch time, but it is worth it if you're in the North Dallas/ Plano/ Richardson area.
I always get top notch service at the Greenville location and most times it's the same employees The sandwiches, shakes, cookies, soup, all of it is fresh and delicious!
I drive 40 miles to eat here. Grew up on these sandwiches and this location is the OG. Best subs in DFW
Having to come here for the first time the double pepperoni cheese sub dill pickle chips and a diet pepsi is a wonderful lunch having to go there for the first time you could make italian sausage & fried breaded veal cutlet subs
Very much in love with this place I've recently started working in Dallas and they are a block away and I'm in love with the place. Great prices huge selection of meats and the quality of the food is it's best attribute. It's a small hole in the wall type of place but the food doesn't show it.
This is the new worst Great Outdoors in the metroplex. Terrible service, and your sandwich will be wrong 50% of the time. Don't go.
Always love this place! Line gets long for a reason. They really make it fresh!!
Best subs around...great for the $$...especially when other sub places want $13-$18 for a sandwich these days.
I work there nice place to make delicious sandwiches, ice cream, and soups. Chicken pablano and broccoli & cheese are top notch. Love different location... if your a person looking for a good time come and enjoy some good food ?
Good sandwich but lady that takes your order is consistently a jerk. As I’m telling her what I want on my sandwich, she interrupts me by saying “just tell me what you DON’T want.”That would take just as much time and effort. There’s about 20 options and toppings to add to a sandwich….I somehow get stuck with her rudeness every time.
