Amazing food and outstanding atmosphere!!! The staff provide excellent service and are really friendly. Love the inside and outside options and the stage where live music fills the place and screens inside provide viewing for sports and special events. A favorite place to come and hang out and enjoy flavorful food, fantastic drinks and fun fellowship!
Bland food. Basic coconut chicken and waffles. Fries tasted freezer burnt. Mac and Cheese,,, just that, Mac and Cheese.Cool outdoor space, but the food was not impressive.
Drinks: If you want to knock down some unique Texas drafts, this is a place that focuses highly on that. The mixed drinks are great as well, but where they shine is the local beer selection on tap IMO.Food: Chicken is juicy, the breading is well spiced and not too crunchy/thick, and the overall food combinations are solid. I wasn't the hugest fan of the mac and cheese -- it was good, but not something I'd come back for. The loaded fries, the chicken sandwiches, the biscuits were all fantastic though.Atmosphere: Low-key, truck-yard feel, but less busy. Plenty of room for the kids to run around. String lighting, stage, live music 7pm-10pm. Plenty of TVs if you want to watch games, but they're not plastered everywhere. This is a place to hang out and enjoy company while the game is on.Staff: Very nice, helpful. The guy who I believe might be the owner (I didn't ask, because we just chatted a lot) is very knowledgeable about the beers and super great to talk to.Will be coming back. Feels like a place you can just be yourself and enjoy time with your company while drinking great beer and eating comfort food.
We loved this place! Such a cool/beautiful setting. The staff was excellent!! Polite, attentive, quick, friendly. The food was outstanding as well. It’s the best bar meal I think I’ve ever had. I think we will be coming often :)
The Foundry is better than ever with its newly designed menu. Well definitely come back and bring out dog next time. Spacious and comfortable patio. Service was exceptional, and the food was outstanding. Don't sleep on the deviled eggs!! Cocktails were also lovelywith complex and unique layers of flavors, and special attention given to the garnishes and presentation.
I just visited the reopened Foundry. The menu has been completely updated. In the past it was a simple chicken restaurant. Now there is a full menu with many options. I had the chicken quesadillas, Mac & cheese and deviled eggs and all were delicious. The Foundry has the same great casual vibe as before and I’m looking forward to returning on a night that has a band playing.
The location is clean and the staff waited on us in a timely manner. Drinks were cold and the music playing at the New New fest was great. I took my small pups with my and had a great time.
We love this place. It's like a step back into Austin when Austin was cool.
Good food, great atmosphere, and reasonably priced food/drinks. They also have boardgames.
Nice people but bad service. Chicken tenders were ok but sides were cold and they NEVER delivered our 2nd entree. What is going on??? They took it off the bill but we won’t be back anytime soon until they get their act together. This place has tons of potential but I can’t recommend it.
