Great Thai food. Very tasty. Would return for sure.
Tasty good quality food with great price and reasonable prices. Love the ambiance and their service.
My beautiful niece Shauna wanted to come to this restaurant and I am so glad we came here! This place almost have 5 stars for reviews and I don't see the reason why they don't. The customer service and food was BEYOND standards! My niece and I will definitely be back.
Everything I have tried I liked. Same for my co-workers.
I've recently rediscovered Thai Orchid and the food is just as delicious as it was when i first came here over 6 years ago! I had the Orchid Salmon and it was amazingly good. The salmon was plentiful, tender and cooked perfectly. And the curry was delicious with just the right amount of spice! I've found my latest good meal addiction restaurant!
Wanted some place new for Thai, and decided to drive out to Addison for my fix. Three significant matters, however, put a damper on my experience. First issue: Service Although I was immediately greeted upon being seated, I hadn't had a chance to review the drinks list and asked my server Aichan if I could have a couple of minutes. Then she disappeared, even though the place was nearly empty. I almost left. To her credit, once my drink was ordered, it was delivered very quickly. Further, even though I was dining solo, it irked me that my soup course and the main entree were both delivered in close proximity to each other. I had only finished 1/4 of my soup when the main dish arrived. This should never happen. Second issue was spiciness of the main dish, Plik King with chicken. I ordered a #3 level of spiciness (what I expected would be medium spicy). The dish was VERY spicy (!), more like a #5 level. I struggled to finish each bite it was so spicy. Therefore, I didn't enjoy the otherwise good flavors that I would normally. And I'm hardly a novice at spicy. Finally, although the prices reflected seem to indicate great value, the portion sizes are quite small, starting with wines by the glass. It didn't look like there was more than 4 oz of wine in the glass. I'd rather pay more and have a decent portion size. Same with the main entree. It looks like high value based upon the menu price but in reality, the portion is smallish. That's not the case with the Wonton soup. In that case, a cup is good size. Kudos to ownership for its alliance with American Airlines dining, enabling me to earn points for my meal. It just isn't enough however to overcome other deficiencies here.
The food was very nice and authentic, the spice selection was also good. Unfortunately the service wasn’t great, it took 30mins to get drinks and the food followed quickly. We didn’t get what we needed to share a soup either. If the service was better this place could be a 5 star.
So good! So glad we stopped in since we were hungry and weren't sure where to go.
The best Thai food I’ve found in a long time! It’s also extremely consistent, which is hard to find in terms of flavor and spice level. It is officially my go to when I am craving Thai food!! Please give it a try, the family that runs it is so nice
Ordered food from Uber eats. The curry came with no rice. Called the location to make sure curry came with rice they said yes. Let them know I didn’t get rice. They said sorry we forgot the rice. Then said what can we do I said I don’t know you tell me. They said come get the rice. I said no I will just leave a bad review they said ok and hung up.Worse part, this is my favorite Thai place
