I was there June 4, 2022, About 10pm. The bartender at the bar upstairs takes my order 1 rum and coke and a cup of water $14.75. It's 1 rum and coke in a Dixie cup with a Dixie cup of water. I ask why is it so much. Her answer is the water is considered a drink just like the rum and coke and is the same price for you. I will never go back again, this is the second bad experience I have had there like others. Go to JR's next door. Fun no cover also they don't rip you off.
So just make sure you take cash. The bartenders are shady,and will charge your card even after the fact you went. I wish I knew her name ,so I won't make it seem like a race thing . The black one that's up stairs ,don't use your card. I went and Quote on quote the credit card machine went down. Then the same week I get charged again on top of the amount I had already spent. I went every Thursday and Saturday never I had this issue. Till I went upstairs this time , just take cash till the government stops that too.
I enjoyed the second floor of Sue Ellen’s. Nice balcony and chill vibes. I did get groped twice here which makes me sad. The DJ sucked and didn’t play a song for longer than 30 seconds. It’s really hard to move around as well. Someone dropped a glass and it shattered and no one seemed bothered to clean it up. Hugeee safety hazard.
One of the bar attendants seemed prejudice. She had a certain energy for certain people and was sweet and smiled to other people. The Dj was okay at first but had no climax to the set. The people that come to the club seem like they stay to their clique. So it doesn’t seem like a atmosphere that’s too inviting but that was just my first experience there and everyone is different.
Good music but they add miscellaneous charges to your account without your consent. So unprofessional and sad honestly because the bartender didn't seem half bad. I had $16 worth of drinks and my account was charges 5 times with a cost of over $40. I won't be returning.
Great bar! I like Friday nights the best and a good spot to go during the weekday if you just wanna chill and play pool!
I didn't know what to expect, but we gave it a shot anyway! I'm so glad we did! The ambiance was great, so were the drinks and they have a social gaming section. I had the chance to meet some pretty amazing people there as well. Definitely will visit again!
If you want your card to be charged with additional charges once you leave the bar, this is the perfect spot. I went on a Friday and used my card only twice, I check my bank account statement on Tuesday and see they’ve charged my card for 2 additional amounts. My friend and her wife were also charged for other amounts they weren’t aware about. They are notorious for charging people’s cards once they leave. DO NOT BOTHER GOING!!
Went there for my wife's birthday, music is amazing and never gets dull or empty. Its nice to be able to find a club that has great energy and a great environment.
Do not go here, I have all the transactions i did this night. I bought myself and only myself drinks, which i tipped for nicely, and now they keep charging my card days later. Screw this place.
