A overall good time at was once a old movie theater. 3 bars and an upper level with reserved seating areas for bottle service. The biggest problem we had was the amount of bass. It was so strong the floor vibrated. I understand having it loud but damn the bass was so intense it was almost overwhelming. Balancing out the treble, midst and bass is always important but seems they turned the bass to 11.
Always a great vibe w/ fun people and killer acts!
Great place, nice sound but man, they gotta fix their toilet. If you go to the ladies’ restroom, the toilets are overly misaligned. It’s literally close to the wall, two of the bathrooms are like that and the other one doesn’t have a door lock.
The concert was amazing and it's always a great time here. The bar tenders are awesome but the prices are a bit high but not as bad as other places. All in all it's a great venue for any concert you want to go to.
Nice enough venue does a good job at making a concert but if you are a dancer or like skill toys this isn't a place for you. They don't allow fans, gloves, hoops, poi, or anything like that. Overall clean but basic venue. I wish it could have a more lively and laid back concert :( ... p.s. the floors are really sticky for some reason?
I absolutely loved this venue! I came here for a Riot Ten show and had a blast. The only thing that was annoying was the staff. They were kicking people out for puking in trash cans which didn’t make any sense to me. They need to get new staff that actually understands the rave community.
No ravers like the venue anymore because they don't let us dress the way we like or bring our rave toys in. They want you to be bored so you drink more I guess.
Venue is ok, a bit small and not in the best location but they bring in great names and offer a lot of deals and contests for free tickets with is amazing! My LEAST favorite part of this place is how strict they are on what is allowed in. They are usually pretty strict about letting people in with medium-sized purses or pashminas.
Overall a nice venue but since it's cashless I got receipts emailed and I noticed I got overcharged for my 3rd round of drinks so that was a bit disappointing (got charged 2 vodka redbulls instead of 2 vodka sodas). I appreciate the autograt because I want to make sure the bartenders are tipped but I'm not sure how to better navigate this in the future
I come here frequently for EDM shows, and I find it to be a great venue. It is small enough that it feels intimate and close-knit, yet big enough to rage and have fun. That also means that the acoustics are wonderful because you can clearly hear the music virtually anywhere in the building. The restrooms are small but clean, with the occasional stall door missing in the girl's restroom. There are plenty of ways to access the bars, which obviously do overcharge for drinks, but they are better than other Dallas venues in terms of portions and prices. There is a second floor to the venue with a bar up there and some lounge seats. Definitely a safer option for people who dislike being in crowds of sweaty people. The lights and lasers are wonderful, and depending on the artist, they can be so overwhelmingly beautiful. Gotta be 18+ to enter. The security cards at the door. You must present a physical ID; they don't accept photos of the ID - letting y'all know from previous experience LOLTicket prices range from free to $40. The fees on Eventbrite aren't as terrible as Ticketmaster or AXS. The sooner you buy the tickets, the better.Parking is $10. You can pay either at the gate or online, but I recommend buying your ticket online, so the line moves faster. Plenty of spaces. Because the venue is small, I doubt the second lot ever fills up entirely. Also, another note, is that most DJs don't come on the stage until 12-12:30 AM, so a local opener will typically play until then UNLESS the headliner is touring with other DJs! Make sure you look that information up to avoid missing out on anybody. One criticism I would make is the inconsistency of the volume and bass of the speakers. Some nights I would leave half-deaf, other nights I would feel like it was not loud enough or I could not feel the bass. I recommend standing in the middle because the side speakers are SO DEAFENING. Otherwise, I do enjoy coming to Stereo Live for shows.
